Lots of great stops with great food & wine. Our guide Aurora ( I think her name was) was amazing & gave us lots of great history along the way. We met fun people as well. Definitely worth doing

Florence Evening Food Tour – A Must for First-Time Visitors

We did a wonderful evening food tour in Florence on our first night, which is something we always enjoy when visiting a new city. It’s the perfect way to get a mix of history, local insight, and great recommendations for the rest of the trip. Our guide, Giovanni, was excellent—knowledgeable, fun, and entertaining. He gave us great context about Florence’s history while walking us through the foods we were trying. On a previous trip to Florence I had missed out on the famous wine windows, but Giovanni made sure we stopped at one this time—such a unique and fun experience! Every stop along the way was fantastic and gave us a real taste of the city. The Negroni was interesting to try (a Florence original!), though I think I’ll pass on it next time—still, it was great to experience something so iconic. Overall, this tour was an excellent start to our time in Florence, and we’d highly recommend it to anyone visiting the city.

Great little tour

We really enjoyed this tour - Gabi, our guide, was excellent and captured the history and spirit of Portugal/Lisbon as well as the food and drink experience. Tour group of twelve.

Lisbon wine and food tour

Camilla was a wonderful hostess. Her passion and knowledge of the food, wine and history was fantastic. All stops seemed to be perfectly timed so you never felt rushed nor waiting too long in one location. She helped to make everyone welcome and included. Great was to make some new friends, enjoy the food and surroundings.

When in Lisbon a MUST DO!

This is a must do when in Lisbon! If you are lucky enough to get Carlos you scored big time! He was an amazing tour guide. Very knowledgeable about the history of Lisbon and took us to some great restaurants. We also got a tour of some hidden streets in old town. The food was delicious and plentiful. Wine selections were fantastic. Wanted to bring a few bottles back!

While it’s a good tour (mix of history and food), the food stops did not completely match the description. Not sure if that’s because the tour operator moved the tour up an hour (which may have changed availability) or the description is outdated. If you are looking for specific food experiences, you may want to confirm the itinerary.

Fun, filling and fantastic walking food tour.

We had a wonderful, fun evening with our guide Assia. It was a great way to sample several wines as well as lots of yummy food. We highly recommend this tour for a true Taste of Florence!!

An enjoyable evening trying new things in Soho.

I loved this tour. It really showcased a variety of cuisines and drinks. Our tour guide, Lizzy, was very knowledgeable and passionate about this tour. The tour was well paced. It was a very enjoyable experience.

Fantastic visit

Nile was terrific. I loved the history portion of the tour. It was a good way to walk around and get hungry again. I was so happy to see brick lane finally!

A wonderful experience

Chef Alina and Alina were both incredible. Not only was the food superb, but they were warm and gracious hosts. With good company, great instructors, wine, pizza, gelato, and sorbet, how could it be anything but perfect!

Ya Florence! Ya Steak!

The best food, the best neighborhood, the best pasta, the best wine shop, the best of everything. Alice was wonderful and had so much great history to share about Florence. It’s wonderful getting a tour of Florence with a local. I would absolutely do this again.

Florence Food & Wine Tour

My husband and I did a tour with Tina and had a lovely experience. Everything was very authentic and the food and drink was excellent. I appreciated their ability to accommodate my gluten free diet as well. I felt that I still got the full experience even with a dietary restriction. I would highly recommend this tour!

Reese, and the tour, are both terrific!

Reese was our guide and he was knowledgeable about the food scene in Edinburgh and a nice, easy going person. We thoroughly enjoyed the tour. It was a lovely way to spend the afternoon.
