What a fantastic tour! Our guide, G, was super knowledgeable and a delight to be around. He was able to explain the origins of the production of Port with a visit to Real Companhia Velha. The tasting was a real eye opener. The food was all of high quality and plentiful. Everything about the tour was perfect. Good luck G for your upcoming marriage. Florence food with wine is a perfect combo

Absolutely wonderful! It was a great experience of Florence and its culinary world from the ham to wine to pasta to gelato. My husband and I found this side of Florence that is rich in its food and to the people whose businesses have been there for decades. Dimitri who was born in Florence was wonderful and his love and passion was evident in every part of our journey’.

Our tour guide Cate was knowledgeable and fun. We went to local restaurants which reflected the mixed cultural influences of Lisbon. Her explanation of the history of Lisbon was great and the food and drinks were delicious and plentiful. Highly recommended tour!

Amazing!!!

Relaxing stroll through one of the prettiest neighborhoods in Amsterdam with tastings of regional delicacies at local spots. An incredible way to spend the afternoon in Amsterdam, especially if you are looking for something chill to do that is not in the typical “touristy” area. Gerard l our guide was AMAZING. A lifelong-local, Gerard really added to the experience by adding personal anecdotes and taking time to answer questions throughout. Be sure to dress for the weather and wear good walking shoes.

Florence Evening Food Tour – A Must for First-Time Visitors

We did a wonderful evening food tour in Florence on our first night, which is something we always enjoy when visiting a new city. It’s the perfect way to get a mix of history, local insight, and great recommendations for the rest of the trip. Our guide, Giovanni, was excellent—knowledgeable, fun, and entertaining. He gave us great context about Florence’s history while walking us through the foods we were trying. On a previous trip to Florence I had missed out on the famous wine windows, but Giovanni made sure we stopped at one this time—such a unique and fun experience! Every stop along the way was fantastic and gave us a real taste of the city. The Negroni was interesting to try (a Florence original!), though I think I’ll pass on it next time—still, it was great to experience something so iconic. Overall, this tour was an excellent start to our time in Florence, and we’d highly recommend it to anyone visiting the city.

While it’s a good tour (mix of history and food), the food stops did not completely match the description. Not sure if that’s because the tour operator moved the tour up an hour (which may have changed availability) or the description is outdated. If you are looking for specific food experiences, you may want to confirm the itinerary.

When in Lisbon a MUST DO!

This is a must do when in Lisbon! If you are lucky enough to get Carlos you scored big time! He was an amazing tour guide. Very knowledgeable about the history of Lisbon and took us to some great restaurants. We also got a tour of some hidden streets in old town. The food was delicious and plentiful. Wine selections were fantastic. Wanted to bring a few bottles back!

Lisbon wine and food tour

Camilla was a wonderful hostess. Her passion and knowledge of the food, wine and history was fantastic. All stops seemed to be perfectly timed so you never felt rushed nor waiting too long in one location. She helped to make everyone welcome and included. Great was to make some new friends, enjoy the food and surroundings.

Fun in the market

Had a great tour around the borough markets with Tom, fantastic guide, lots of history and some extra stories thrown in. If I had attempted the market on my own I wouldn’t have got to try all the amazing food. Definitely do this tour, we’ll work it 👍😜
