Great tour of Lisbon with wonderful food tastings. Catirina was a great guide! We had a ton of fun and loved trying everything!

If you like food and fun - book this tour

An enjoyable way to learn about Lisbon history and culture , and taste amazing and different foods and beverages! Amanda was knowledgeable , articulate, and fun. She seems to genuinely enjoy her job and creates the same enthusiasm among the group. We had a ton of fun, met great and interesting people, and could not eat another bite or drink another beverage when the tour was over . Highly recommend - a bargain for the tour price .

Fantastic tour and guide, Catarina

Fantastic tour, a lot of food and wine. At the beginning we were told the route was up to the castle, which worried me as it is a decent hike. But it was so broken up with food and wine stops that it barely felt like a hike at all. Catarina was great, lots of good info about basically everything. One person commented on a church and she told us all about it, looked at her watch and said, we have 5 minutes, let’s see it. Our group was so much fun, everyone was enjoyable and there to have a good time. Two things about the tour to note, it is a hike uphill and it ends at the castle so it is either a long hike home or you get an uber.

Best Foodie tour with Aldo

My mom and I went on this tour together and had a wonderful time. Aldo was our tour guide and he made the experience better than I expected! Not only did we gain knowledge on the food in Italy but we also learned a lot about Italian culture! Highly recommend this tour with Aldo!!!

Superior guide and superior London experience

This Borough Market food tour was the perfect way to experience a true slice of London history. Our guide, Tom, was informative and interesting, and kept us full of fun facts and snacks. Would absolutely recommend!

Great tour guide - Oliver

Really great fun food and drink experience with Oliver. Oliver did a great job of breaking the ice and getting everyone relaxed at Lod Pivovar before we set out. Then kept everyone happy and well fed while showing us the sights and telling us the history.

Avoid this tour. Promises in description that wasn’t true!

We did NOT go to the Jewish Ghetto and that is a reason I chose this tour. I feel it was totally false advertisement. The guide said she wouldn’t take us there and pointed to a street to find it ourselves. We did NOT go to a theater where Mozart instead we went to a building that she said Mozart lived in but we did NOT go inside or see anything! The food was mediocre!!! She gave us a ham sandwich (half) and said it was very Czech. Everyone in the world eats ham sandwiches!!! She talked on and on but never really gave any interesting information. She told us where to shop for souvenirs and then led us to a skin care store and told us we should buy it because that’s what you do in foreign countries and this was her favorite. We talked to the other tourist in the group and she stopped that immediately. She interrupted by yelling at us instead of asking politely. She wasted my time by talking about the importance of us giving a good review immediately! I found her boring, monotone and rude. I’ve done food tours in Paris, Rome, Napa, NYC and more and this was the worst because of the guide, and false promises. They also said 9 tastings and there was only 5 - even is you count side items only 8. AVOID THIS TOUR!!!!

Yummy food with a side of history

Tom was a fantastic tour guide. Approachable. Informative. Kind. He kept a great pace and had us start in borough market when stalls were opening up to get breakfast. And then walked around the area to get historical context. And then ended with more snacks/drinks. My favorite was the last part where we got to rest in a pub with cozy chairs and get some respite from the rain.

We took the Eating Europe Food Tour with Carlos on our first day in Lisbon, and it was the perfect introduction to the city. The food and wine were exceptional, and Carlos’s knowledge of Lisbon’s history and culture made every stop memorable. It was more than just a food tour — it gave us a deeper appreciation for Lisbon’s neighborhoods, local traditions, and the wonderful owners and staff at each stop. We even found ourselves retracing our steps later in the trip to revisit some of our favorite spots! I would highly recommend this experience to anyone visiting Lisbon — whether it’s your first time in Europe or you’re looking for an insider’s perspective on the best local food, wine, and culture. Portugal has become one of our favorite trips ever, and this tour played a big part in that.

Best food tour I’ve done

I’ve been on many food tours in many cities and this is my favorite! Valerie Cecilia (sorry if the spelling is wrong!) was an excellent guide. She was engaging, funny, and very knowledgeable. Some tours I’ve been on have not really had a lot of food, not the case with this one. Make sure you have room to eat and drink! We even got to meet the King of Cheese!

Ask for Lorenzo in Florenzo!

We had one day in Florence and this was the highlight! Lorenzo was our tour guide and he was so engaging. We visited six local spots that we would never have found on our own - every one was a uniquely different experience. With a group of 11 (9 adults, 2 children) it's hard to please everyone, but this tour offered something for the oldest to the youngest.
