Magnificent time - great food and conversation

We had the absolute best time on our tour with our guide Sara. Everything was very well organized and it was absolutely great value for the price - we had 3 and a half hours of some of the best food, interspersed with lots of interesting history and information. Sara kept everything light and engaging. We loved each of the stops and had a perfect size group at ten people. This tour is best for anyone who is hungry and curious about the culture in Lisbon - a great primer for someone exploring the town.

Fantastic time!

I had a fantastic time on this tour. Fred is the best tour guide. He is energetic and funny. He kept us engaged throughout the tour, sharing not only the history of Lisbon, but also local customs. The tour is well organized. It’s suitable for someone who is interested in culinary scene of Lisbon, as well as exploring the city’s old neighbourhood. I liked the food and drinks at each stop, experiencing rich culture in every bite.

An evening of Wine, Oysters, Chocolate Croissants and Macarons

I had such a great time exploring Montmartre with Harriet! She led our small group for an evening walk of eating, drinking and learning about the neighborhood and all the juicy gossip/history that happened behind closed doors. It was a great mix of sweet and savory, (macarons, oysters, pate…) and everything was so good.

Great tour for solo travelers, couples, and families alike

This food and wine tour was such a treat. Our guide, Camila, gave us lots of insight into each food we ate, some history and cultural significance, and a bit of info about each stop. She was an excellent guide. I think everyone in the group was having a wonderful time. The tour was about three hours, but the time flew by! I left with a full belly and a happy heart.

Fred Made This Food Tour Unforgettable!

We’ve done many food tours in different countries, and this one with Eating Europe in Lisbon was by far the funniest. Our tour guide, Fred, was absolutely brilliant — incredibly knowledgeable, genuinely funny, and full of personality. His banter with our group and with the restaurant staff was spot on and made the whole experience feel relaxed, authentic, and very local. The food was excellent, with more than enough to eat and drink (lots of drinks 😄). Every stop was well chosen and never felt rushed. The pork was amazing, and the goat cheese was a real highlight. Highly recommended — especially if you want a food tour that combines great food with lots of laughs.

Superb Local Dishes!

This tour was an absolute standout, largely thanks to our guide Oliver, who brought everything together and created such an enjoyable and memorable experience. It was terrific value for money, with great food and drinks, and we learnt so much about Prague along the way. Oliver shared fascinating insights into Czech culture, took us through hidden shops and quiet alleyways, and gave us an incredible list of recommendations for places to eat and things to do. Those tips alone made the rest of our time in Prague even better. Highly recommended — and if you get Oliver as your guide, that’s a real bonus 🙌
