Excellent food and wine tour
Antonella our guide on this tour was amazing. We started our early evening tour in Oltando and managed to eat and drink our way around that area for over 3 hours. We tried lots of different food and drinks which were all excellent. We especially liked the cheese tasting with the King of Cheese, having a drink at a wine window (didn't have to wait) and also the negronis.

Best Food Tour Experience, Ever We’ve been on over 20 food tours across Europe and beyond, and I can confidently say nothing compares to tonight in Lisbon with Fred from Eating Europe. Fred didn’t just guide a tour, he commanded the evening. He somehow managed to keep 12 loud, curious Americans engaged, laughing, learning, eating, drinking, and moving through Lisbon like locals. That alone deserves a medal. The food was authentically Portuguese, not watered down or touristy. Every stop had meaning... tradition, history, culture, and flavor all woven together effortlessly. From incredible bites to perfectly timed drinks, everything felt intentional and personal. What truly set Fred apart was the fun. This wasn’t a scripted walk with rehearsed lines. It felt like being shown around Lisbon by a wildly knowledgeable friend who loves this city and wants you to love it just as much. Stories, humor, history, and heart... all delivered flawlessly. Unbeatable experience
Carolyn, our tour guide, is amazing. We can feel her strong passion in hoping tourists can eat like the locals. The food we tasted was fantastic and diverse in varieties. You never know what comes to next. And we had the chase to cut the ham ourselves! During our tour, Carolyn gave us many highlights in interesting historical stories. As just few people joined this tour, we enjoyed our conversations with Carolyn. Highly recommended this unbeatable tour for food lovers.

Prague Food and Beer tour
We had an enjoyable time on the Prague Food and Beer tour with Petra. We started out at Lod’ Pivovar, which was a brewery located on a boat on the Vltava River. We tried their 10 Legions and 12 Republic beers. For an appetizer we had Czech Pickled Soft Cheese (pickled in oil with peppers, onions and herbs) with homemade malt bread. This was delicious. On our way to the next stop, Petra explained some of the history of Prague, especially the defense system for possible floods, so that there would not be a repeat of the devastation of the 2002 floods. Our next stop was the Anzeka Cafe in the St. Agnes Convent. Here we had cabbage soup or chicken noodle soup and the Vinorhady 11 beer, which were all delicious. Our next stop was a bistro where we tried a traditional open face sandwich and had beer or a Czech coke, kofola which is reminiscent of Dr. Pepper. Our last stop was the famous Cafe Louvre where we had Svickova (beef in a creamy sauce with cranberries and bread dumplings) or chicken breast in a creamy pepper sauce with spatzle, both meals were delicious. To accompany dinner we had beer or Czech red wine. The only stop we missed was the Pernickuv Sen, the gingerbread store which was closed for vacation. Petra bought all the tour participants a ginger bread cookie for us to try. Throughout the tour Petra was very knowledgeable and ready to answer our many questions. At the end of the tour she also shared a list of places to see and restaurants/ bar to enjoy.

A must see
The market was only a 2 minute walk from the hotel and it was amazing to walk around it's set in an amazing building designed by Giuseppe Mengoni. It houses Spices,oils, meat vegetables etc . Everything you want for your culinary experience. I found it very annoying being approached by the stall holders , as I just wanted to browse in comfort, so I had to keep walking away. If they just left me be , they may have got a sale. The one stall I did buy from did exactly that, left me to browse and I bought several items from them @labottegadibabbo Outside the building are stall selling leather items, they are less approaching but still don't let you browse. If I lived in florence I would be at this market weekly.

Fred was funny, witty, knowledgeable, and star of the show!! We loved his character, personality and humor!! The food and wine tour was unique as well as cultural. We highly recommend this tour while in Lisbon. You will experience places you would not imagine going to while visiting!!

A delightful way to spend the evening in Lisbon!
This tour was great in every way. The food and drink were excellent, varied, and plentiful. We got to see a bit of the city walking around but it was not too strenuous. Having the group size capped at 12 also enables the tour to have a personalized feel to it. Our tour guide was Fred, and he was awesome!!! His warm personality and style helped bring the group together - everyone was fully engaged and smiling throughout the tour. I highly recommend the tour and Fred as the tour guide.

Food and wine tour is worth every penny.
Any was a fantastic guide and I had a wonderful time trying local food that I never would have tried on my own. I appreciated trying lots of wine. The Negroni demo was also great.
