Really enjoyed this tour. Fred was an amazing guide and the group were such fun. We tried places off the usual tourist track. Great food and better drinks. A really fabulous experience.

Great tour, even better tour guide!
Fred is the best, he led us on a tour of great little out-of-the-way spots we never would have found or tried on our own, each one was excellent, and the stories he gave on the way were amazing. Highly recommend taking this tour and asking for him by name!

The tour was fantastic. Our guide Rish was very knowledgeable and passionate about the area, he is obviously well known and liked as there was someone greeting him on every street. The tour gave me the opportunity to try foods I hadn’t tasted and I even bought a bottle of wine that we drank to come home. It’s also a great opportunity to meet like minded tourists and share recommendations of places to eat and visit. I took 3 of my children with me aged 13, 14 and 19 so it was suitable for all ages.

Incredible Oltrarno tour with Eli
We took this tour with Elisa and it was absolutely amazing! Wonderful experience with excellent wines, great food, and Elisa was so knowledgeable and friendly. Eli knew all the stops inside and out - and introduced us to everyone at each stop. The tour felt quite personal and Eli really tailored our Oltrarno experience. Also, Elisa’s attention to detail with the wines and the information she provided as a sommelier was so interesting and added to the experience. I feel like I not only got to experience everything but learned a lot about it as well and would absolutely recommend it.

A Perfect Evening Experience in Florence with Eli
Eli was an absolute GEM of a host and tour guide. Eli was not only knowledgeable about the local food and wine scene in oltrarno, but expertly led me and my friends through the how's and why's of the pairings (5 drinks total!). We loved benefiting from the amazing relationships Eli has built with local businesses in the area! Eli had amazing communication skills with us (English speakers) and really added a fun flair to our evening. We also were able to ask Eli about local things to try during the rest of our trip, and she was very helpful in guiding us to great local places. Overall an amazing experience well worth the money that wouldn't have been the same without her. Highly recommend for anyone looking for an amazing intimate experience in Florence. Thanks, Eli!

Sunset food and wine tour with Eli was EXQUISITE
We did this tour on our first full day in Florence and Elisa brought us on a joyful journey through food, wine, and the history of small, local, intimate venues in Oltrarno. I would wholeheartedly recommend everyone else to do the same. The food and wine were exquisite. On top of that, the owners of each stop on the tour greeted us like family, and Eli took us along like friends, telling us inside stories about her experiences at each destination. Eli brought not only her delightful personality, but also her deep knowledge of food and of wine from her background as a sommelier. Her enthusiasm was infectious, and even if we hadn’t had 5 drinks, I’d still sing Elisa’s praises as the reason this tour is listed as Florence’s best. Thank you Eli!!

Absolutely amazing and worth it!
Everything from this experience was TOP tier! From the morning, getting picked up to exploring, searching for Truffles and the Food. The Food was Amazing! We enjoyed everything that was given and felt at home from the moment we got to Francesca’s home.

Perfect experience even on a rainy day!
We had heard this tour was the best and we weren't disappointed! This surpassed our expectations and our tour guide - Annette - was wonderful. It was raining the whole day but she has the best energy! We had a small group of 6 of us and by the end, it felt like we were sitting around a table of friends. Well worth the time and money.

A Bit Confusing
'Arrived at Monumento aos Restauradores 10:45 AM for the 11 AM tour and within 15 minutes found approximately ten other individuals who had also purchased tickets for the same Food Tour. Eventually an English speaking gentleman arrived and stated he was attempting to contact the assigned tour guide. Approximately 11:20 a female tour guide showed up with another eight participants. Confusion arose as to which guide was to lead the venture. Just after 11:30 both tour guides began to gather people for the event and each instructed me to go with the other group. The female guide then told me that I could join her tour even though my pre-paid ticket was for the other. 'Realizing I wasn't really wanted I took my pocket full of Euros and walked away.
