Loved this delicious tour!

10/10! This was an amazing tour led by Kriszti. She was so knowledgeable about the food, culture, and city of Lisbon. We enjoyed every minute of it! We booked the 11am tour, and had the rest of the afternoon to walk around, and get hungry again for dinner! Book this tour now!

Eating Cicchetti in Venice!

Gioele (Joe) is a great guide who understands how things in Venice were named and why the chosen words make sense. He was a lot of fun and all of the food was great. Make sure that you remind him to tell you the story of the origin of ‘the toast’.

Amazing Testaccio Food Tour

Giorgio was en excellent teacher. He answered all of our questions and allowed us to be a part of the whole process. The pizza crust was amazing and the gelato and sorbet also incredible. A must try!!!

One of the best food tours we’ve ever done—authentic, delicious, and brilliantly guided from start to finish.

My wife and I took the Undiscovered Lisbon Food and Wine Tour on February 5, and it was hands down one of the standout experiences of our entire trip to Lisbon. Our guide, Fred, was exceptional. He was engaging, knowledgeable, and genuinely passionate about Lisbon’s food and history. Before each stop, he explained the background of the neighbourhood, the restaurant, and the dishes we were about to try, which elevated the experience far beyond just sampling food. You could tell he truly cared about sharing Lisbon the right way. The food lineup was outstanding and thoughtfully curated: We kicked things off at Ginginha Popular with pan-fried chorizo, a classic bifana (pork steak sandwich), and refreshing “green” wine—simple, traditional, and full of flavour. At Cantinho do Aziz, we enjoyed chicken and beef samosas with Aziz’s excellent Piri Piri sauce and beer, a great example of Lisbon’s diverse and multicultural food scene. Tasquinha Canto do Fado delivered classic Portuguese comfort food, including a fresh octopus salad and Bacalhau à Brás, paired perfectly with red wine in a warm, local setting. A major highlight was Pata, where we sampled morcela (blood sausage) with mustard, shallot, and vinegar cream sauce, along with goat cheese, a Port wine reduction, and wine—creative, bold, and beautifully balanced. The tour wrapped up perfectly at Fábrica da Nata with a warm, freshly made pastel de nata that absolutely lived up to the hype. The pacing was spot-on, the portions were generous, and every stop felt genuinely local rather than touristy. We left full, informed, and with a real appreciation for Lisbon’s food culture—all thanks to Fred’s expertise and storytelling. If you’re considering this tour, don’t hesitate. It’s well worth it and a fantastic way to experience Lisbon through its food.

Fun Food Tour

We had a great time with Fred. He is knowledgeable and really, really funny, We made 5 stops and the types of food were different but complementary. We wouldn't have found these places unless we were with a local. We had a great group which always makes the food taste better. Highly recommend this food and wine tour.

Trastevere Twilight Food Tour

I was staying Rome solo for a week and wanted to do some activities with groups. I chose this Trastevere tour which was such a great experience! Flavia was the best guide and she took us to the most wonderful places. We tried a lot of the traditional Roman cuisine and she told us so many interesting stories. My favorite part was the wine tasting in the cellar of a very old restaurant. So much history! i highly recommend this tour!

Giusi was amazing and a treasure trove of information, not just about the food, but also history, culture, etc. Showed us places we would never have found on our own and had many more great recommendations for the days to come. Food, drink and good chat

Had an excellent night tonight with Alfonso as our guide. We enjoyed every single thing we ate and drank. Personal and unexpected highlight was the potato salad! We were a small group, but Alfonso kept us entertained with facts and stories about Seville as he took us to all his favourite local spots. Our third Eating Europe tour (following two great tours in Athens and Porto). Highly recommend!

Fantasticly friendly and informative guide in Christina. Lots of food and drinks along the unhurried tour around the city. We learnt lots about the language, culture, history as well as the traditional and current foods & drinks of Athens and Greece. Would highly recommend. Fantastic Experience

We had a fantastic time on the Madrid Food Tour by Eating Europe. It was a great way to experience the city through its food while also learning more about the history and culture of Madrid. Our guide was knowledgeable, friendly, and did a wonderful job explaining the background behind each stop. The pacing of the tour felt just right, with a nice mix of walking, sightseeing, and time to relax and enjoy the food. Every place we visited offered something unique, from traditional tapas to local specialties we probably would not have discovered on our own. Everything was fresh and authentic, and there was more than enough food along the way. What we appreciated most was the personal feel of the tour. It never felt rushed or overly scripted, and there were plenty of opportunities to ask questions and connect with the group. Overall, it was a highlight of our time in Madrid. We would absolutely recommend this tour to anyone looking for a fun and memorable way to explore the city.

We loved the tour the food and the neighborhoods were incredible!

Claire was an exceptional guide. Not only did we get her extensive knowledge of the foods of the neighborhoods and where they originated in France, but we also received a history lesson of the neighborhoods and the establishments we visited. The businesses and eateries we visited are incredible and unique being some of the best at what they do in France. One tip: come hungry! My wife and I ate a hearty breakfast and had a mid morning coffee and eclair. But skipped lunch for the tour, a good choice! The amount of food was abundant and actually was enough to fill us up for lunch and even dinner. After the tour if you are hungry return to a previous stop on the tour and enjoy a Parisian coffee and a dessert! This tour is a must for those want get off the tourist route and explore the Paris culinary experience! You definitely won’t regret it! Oh and by the way make sure you request Claire.
