Eat your way through the Market
Wow! What a treat. Kiara not only knew her food but all the history, stories and people behind it! From Cantucci and Vin’santo to Lamprodotto, we tried all the best things il mercato centrale di Firenze had to offer! I was even more impressed with the deep relationships Kiara had with each of the vendors, making us feel like we were getting something extra special because of those relationships - like family!

Leo and Ribs were fabulous tour guides . A brilliant tour - so interesting. We experienced local food at various places - a great port tasting tour and a history lesson about Porto too. I highly recommend doing this tour if you come to Porto.

Great Tour
This was an absolute fun and amazing tour, and the highlight of our trip. We did this walking tour with Jesita and she was great. We sampled all kinds of delicious food, chocolate, and cheese. There was so much food and it was all amazing. Jesita was very knowledgeable and made the tour. A lot of fun with a lot of interesting facts on history along the way. Highly recommend this walking food tour.

Carlos was an absolutely amazing guide, taking us to amazing places that we wouldn’t have had the sincere privilege of eating at otherwise. The context he gave for each restaurant only enhanced the experience and he was overall a sincere pleasure.

Welcomed to the group like family
The day started out with some hiccups. Not to the fault of the tour company at all but due to a celebration for St. Patrick’s Day that necessitated some change in starting plans. I joined the group late but when I arrived, Fred, our gregarious tour guide, welcomed me with open arms and a hug. Instantly, I joined the group and felt like family. Fred takes you on a culinary tour of delight while telling you a bit about history of food and culture along the way. He has a way to seamlessly make you feel included. I’ve taken a lot of tours around the world and I must say that Fred is one of the most affable and informative tour guides I have had the pleasure to meet. He loves what he does and it shows. I highly recommend this food tour to anyone and hope that you too have a welcoming experience of seeing Lisbon through its culinary delights with this company‘s amazing tour guides.

Excellent Tour with personalized service with Sophie and Melissa.
Excellent wine and food tour with personalized service from hosts Sophie and Melissa. We visited 6 locations, a bit off the beaten path eating and drinking original Portugese specialties. It is a walking tour but not too much distance between locations. We were extremely lucky to have Sophie and Melissa showing us not only food and wine but historical facts as well. And to top it off, only my wife and I were the customers so you can’t get it better than that. Highly recommended. Cheers, Obrigado.

Carlos was a wonderful guide - weaving stories of neighbourhoods, history of Lisbon and food together. Great options for food and drink too in places we never would know to find on our own. A highly recommended experience.

A food primer
We had a nice experience with several restaurants. I would’ve liked a bit more traditional guide information (like a tourist tour in the food tour) and perhaps hoped for more special restaurants. Overall I found the food good, but not on the same level as some other places we tried. It was good as an overview and to try all things that are mentioned as special about Lisbon online. Also fun to see a traditional fado towards the end.

Carlos was a fantastic tour guide! As a local resident, he knew the areas, the history, and all about the places we visited. Both our guide and our hosts were warm, friendly and generous with sharing culture and knowledge. All the food was delicious and paired with great drinks- local wines or whatever we chose. We definitely had experiences we could not have found on our own. Would do this tour again ourselves, give it the highest recommendation to any and all who want to experience local food and drink in an easy, comfortable way. All 9 of us on tour loved the whole thing!

Highly recommend this tour with Carlos as your tour guide! It was a great way to learn the history of the country through food and wine. Such a great variation of foods and drinks! We went to 5 spots where we tried Portuguese sausage, Bifanas, Octopus, Chamusas and Pastel de Nata! The restaurants were hidden gems not part of your typical busy streets for tourists. From one foodie to another, book it!
