Well worth it
Our guide, Salma, was brilliant! She took us to so many hidden gems, and taught us so much. She was also great at giving recommendations for other things to do, and clearly knew Paris inside out. The food on this tour was out of this world and certainly plentiful! This tour is well worth it! There was a great variety and although it was breakfast, it also was more than enough for lunch too.

Fun and Full Experience
It was a great experience and worth the money. Pedro, the tour guide was amazing. We were in Europe for a week & in Lisbio for 3 of those days. It was an intimate group. & best if you like cultural foods and wine!

Fantastic tour & guide I'm fantastic Lisbon
The 4 of us joined another 7 people & were treated to a fantastic tour by our guide Miguel. We stopped off at 5 places & enjoyed 5 different eating & drinking experiences - all were special & none we would have visited if we weren't on the tour - we wouldn't have found them! Miguel deserves a special mention - his knowledge & attentiveness was excellent! Definitely recommend!

Amazing Food and Experience
Frederico (aka Jersey Fred) was an awesome guide! He was friendly, funny, knowledgeable and experienced. The places that we went, were definitely off the beaten path and not someplace we’d have known to try. He even provided recommendations for other places to eat that weren’t on the tour. The food and drinks were excellent; my personal favorite was the pork sandwich, but everything we had was delicious and gave a truly authentic experience to visiting Lisbon. I’d recommend both the tour and Fred since it made our time in Lisbon even more memorable.

The perfect food tour experience!
If you could paint a picture of the perfect tour guide, it would look just like Fred! We all know the tour guide truly sets the tone for any tour experience and Fred made this tour so fun and interesting, and somehow managed to bring our group of strangers together to the point we all left as friends! Fred is knowledgeable and enthusiastic, and a just a really cool and kind person! This tour is over-all amazing! It is so fun to walk all around Lisbon and check out restaurants, drinks spots , and dessert shops you probably would have otherwise overlooked. In addition to tasting many local specialties, which were all delicious, you get to learn a little bit about the history behind the dishes and what makes these particular versions of the dishes unique and especially tasty. We went on this tour with our three teenage children, two other couples, and one single person. Fred so naturally made everyone feel welcome. While we learned so much about Lisbon and the cuisine of the city, there was also a very special element of human connection. We got time to enjoy food and drinks around a big table and talk, laugh, and share stories. And by the end of our tour every person hugged each other goodbye. Even our kids had the best time, and that’s not always the easiest thing to accomplish! I can’t recommend this tour enough, and I highly recommend you search out Fred as your guide - you won’t be sorry!

The tour that made our trip complete.
This was the tour that really made our trip complete. The tour I didn’t know I needed. Great stories, great guide (Andre), great food. It really helped us catch a glimpse of Edinburgh through food and great narrative. Andre has a great understanding and love for the city.

Fabulous intimate food and wine tasting in Florence!
I just wanted to take a moment to share how much I enjoyed the Sunset Food and Wine Tour by Eating Europe. The entire experience was truly delightful, and I owe much of that to Joseph, our fantastic host. Leading up to the tour, we received reminders and clear, detailed information, which made everything seamless from the very start. Our group was an intimate gathering of eight, which made the evening feel even more special and allowed us all to connect. The locations chosen for our tastings were absolutely wonderful, each spot serving up delicious food and local Florentine wines that really captured the spirit of Florence. Every bite and sip was a treat, and it was clear that a lot of care went into curating the experience. Joseph was not only knowledgeable, sharing fascinating history and stories, but also incredibly hardworking and attentive. They made sure everyone felt included and comfortable, which I greatly appreciated. The planned itinerary was well thought out and enjoyable, and the evening wrapped up on a sweet note that left me with fond memories. I highly recommend this tour group to anyone looking for a memorable and unique experience in Florence. It’s a fantastic way to discover the city’s culinary gems and learn a bit of its history along the way.
