Well I would share my experience except we made the 2 hr 30 min drive to dreamworld for my sons birthday only to leave at 2 to take him swimming ( which was the main reason we went) and signed everywhere saying only open Friday Saturday and Sunday, in 32 degree weather too?. When people buy all park passes let them know it doesn’t operate 90% of the time. Should have just got passes to wet n wild and all associated parks. Would have been money better spent, at least it’s open. Dreamworld has died in attraction reputation. Don’t bother wasting your money. It’s never recovered and probably won’t.

Went on a Sunday and it was packed. But we expected this. Recommend going on week day

the park is awesome but if you do go on a hot day there is obviously waits which we expected. We did however face a couple of issues with communication about ride faults but Ginni from support was able to help us out. Park is still awesome just tough on the hot weekend. Go on a quieter day and its definitely a 5 star

Scored a great deal on Groupon and had a wonderful time. Highly recommend checking the weather before you go though as it can got quite chilly waiting in line for the slides. Cabanas are a great idea with the few extra seats, protection from the sun and the fridge but for the amount of time you spend in them VS the price, I probably wouldn't fork out that kind of money again, just take an esky and been sun smart. My 4 year old was able to ride 4 of the bigger slides at a height of 109cm so that kept him happy with the other kids areas around too.

Yesterday, four others and I visited WhiteWater World, and unfortunately the experience was extremely disappointing. Upon arrival, we waited approximately 20 minutes just to purchase tickets. The entry fee was a whopping $90 per person. Once inside, the problems only continued. The first ride required a 40-minute wait in the queue, yet the ride itself lasted barely one minute. We then lined up for the water slides, which took another 25 minutes of waiting for a ride that again lasted less than a minute. At that point, we couldn’t be bothered lining up for more rides and decided to get some food instead. There was only one food outlet operating, resulting in a 25-minute wait just to place an order. After ordering, we were told there would be a further 30-minute wait for the food. Seating was unavailable as everything was taken, so we stood waiting. The food ultimately took 35 minutes to arrive and was very average at best. We then debated whether to go home or attempt another ride, but by this stage the $90 ticket had effectively worked out to be $45 per one-minute ride. We tried to find the ride with the shortest queue, but after 25 minutes in line we realised we weren’t even halfway through. At that point, we collected our belongings and went home. This was absolutely the worst experience and value for money I have encountered. It was incredibly disappointing. I genuinely feel sorry for families who pay a fortune only to leave with upset kids and frustrated parents. The entire operation feels like a pure money-making exercise with no regard for customer experience. Very Un-Australian. PS the que for the ladies toilet was 20min. I bet most just peed in the pool. !

(Translated by Google) After spending time at Dreamworld, we went to a water park when it started getting hot. It was really cool, and there were lots of fun rides, which was great. (Original) 드림월드에서 시간을 보내고 점점 더워질때쯤 워터파크로 놀러갔는데 정말 시원하고 재미았는 놀이기구도 많고 좋았습니다.

Can’t believe this place is open only on weekends, must make enough on the weekends with the ridiculous crowds obviously, would be good if it was open during the week so lines were not as big, it’s the Gold Coast where it’s the most popular destination in Australia so I’m sure they would make enough cash during the week, maybe it’s because they can’t pay older people to work so they just teenagers the low rates on weekends.

Waited almost an hour for every single ride, only managed 4 rides in 4 hours — that’s not a theme park, that’s a queue simulator. Food was a joke: paid $23 for the most basic hot dog, and the bun was stale, dry, and borderline inedible. Total rip-off. Staff moved painfully slow and genuinely looked like they didn’t care at all while people stood barefoot on steel for 45+ minutes. No urgency, no crowd management, no concern for guests. For the price they charge, this place should be running like a machine. Instead it’s disorganised, overpriced, and frustrating. While the rides are great, you are waiting around in queues for most of the day and have maybe about 30 min of actual ride/fun times given that most ride dont last more than 45 seconds to a min.

Previously we liked WWW but over-the-top safety protocols (please don't straddle the line, let's weigh everyone despite clear compliance, sorry you can't go until the person 30m away has fully exited etc) have made waiting times too long and sapped all the "fun". Probably OK for kids up to 12 thereafter it's hard to hold interest - we decided to leave after~2 hours rather than endure. 😞

Kids had a great time. The wait time was short as it wasn’t as busy as peak season.

Considering the time of the year (Christmas / New Year 2025/2026) lines were as expected. I was served by a lovely lady in guest services at whitewater world. Whilst it was super busy in there, she was very lovely, calm demeanor and non-judgemental. However, I am glad I have an annual pass and didn’t pay a single day pass otherwise I would have preferred going during off peak time.

I am not in a hurry to return. The frequency at which riders are sent down the slides is just to slow. Everyone is Weighed AFTER they have walked all up the stairs, and then there is an over the top safety briefing for every rider. For example the dual tube line on the "Temple of Huey" was running at 1 tube every 4-5 minutes. And the splash down area on the "Temple of Huey" was 95% of the time empty. That's about 30 people an hour in the dual tube line. Why on earth are they weighing people at all, is height not enough for a water slide? The way in which the place is operating is either overly cautious due to a certain incident at Dreamworld OR designed to make you buy the Fast pass. which as it turns out only allows for 7 rides for +99$! I'm sure someone will reply with "our safety is our priority", yeah well my time is my priority and it costs a damn fortune to be standing around all day watching slides run slow.
