Have to do this experience!!
Chef Alma was so great and nice! She truly does make you feel welcomed in her home. It was great to learn about the history of Playa Del Carmen and about the cuisine of the area as well. All of my friends had fun with this experience, and the recipes you receive are priceless! We walked to the location from downtown Playa Del Carmen from the coast and felt extremely safe. I cannot recommend this experience enough!

Hands down, best tour in Mexico
We had wanted to try a cooking class for a while and so glad we chose this one. Carolina, our host, was amazing from beginning to end -- engaging, knowledgeable, and flexible. We made margaritas, Chile rellenos, salsa, flank steak and tortillas -- and all was delicious. Loved getting to go to the market and pick out the ingredients for our meal and sitting around the table with others making the meal. Couldn't be happier with our experience and would highly recommend to anyone.

Something for EVERYONE
We have becoming to Cabo for years with our group of (slightly high maintenance 😂) friends. Each time we do an excursion/activity. This activity has been our favorite one thus far collectively. The interaction with the hosts was outstanding. The cooking, Mixology, and dance lessons were seamlessly interchange to make a spectacular evening. This is an experience our group will be talking about for years to come. Each of us took away a nugget of information that was very specific to us. I cannot recommend this activity enough!

Fun tour! David was great. Informative about the area and history of the Los Cabos. The locations we went to had a variety of options so there was something for everyone! Highly recommend.

Wonderful Mexican cooking adventure
This is an incredible experience with a Chef in his home. We started at the market to buy supplies for the day's cooking adventure and of course gather some tortillas. Then we went to Enrique's house to cook our meal. Enrique has such a comprehensive knowledge of Mexican food and overall Mexican culture/history. This is my second time on this tour and both times were wonderful. Highly recommend.

Take A Class with a Knowledgeable Chef to experience Gourmet Mexican Food!
Francisco is a fantastic chef and guide ! This cooking class begins at a Mercado where you are educated about how to select produce , dairy and meats . It is a time to connect with the people who live be and work in San Jose . Transportation is provided to the Chef’s Kitchen ( thin school field trip with a strong sense of adventure ). Delicious drinks with hibiscus ; salsa making : guacamole making , corn tortilla making and the main dish with fresh ground spices and herbs is over the top delicious! All of this in a family atmosphere with friendly tourists !

Unique Opportunity

Hearing story of how this cooking class got its start. It was such an emotional and heartfelt story. The food, drinks and dancing was so much fun. I recommend this excursion to anyone looking for a great time with great people!

Fun Time
We were lead away from the tourist area into the heart of Cabo. We were able to learn about making tortillas and how to pick a good fish from the market. Making lunch and meeting new people was fun. This is a great tour.

Great Food Tour in Cabo!
We had a great time on our food tour with Juan More Taco Tours! Our guide was very knowledgeable about the history of Mexico and its cuisine. We got to taste different tacos from many different regions in Mexico that were very tasty! Great portions of food! And, we finished off with a really nice tequila tasting! Would definitely recommend this tour for anyone visiting Cabo San Lucas!

MUST DO for Food Lovers!!
My husband and I did this for his birthday. If you are a food lover, this is a MUST DO in Cabo! Absolutely safe and SO much fun. Come Hungry!! There were tons of options at each stop and SO MUCH GOOD FOOD! Our tour guide, David, was awesome. We ended with dessert and Tequila tasting which was great. Would absolutely do this again!

Great cooking tips and a wonderful way to learn some new recipes
This was great. I was impressed with the little cooking tips that will apply more broadly in life and not just to the specific recipes we covered. The market was cool. The food was fresh and the cooking environment was bright and clean. Would take other friends and family to this and greatly encourage you to try it.

One night in Cabo…
David from Juan More Taco guided us to 7 different local spots for authentic Cabo cooking—sopes, various tacos, ceviche, and ice cream. It was awesome and we are so glad we did it! We ended with a thorough education & tequila tasting. Great value & very fun!

Amazing Taco Tour
Great walking tour which highlighted tacos from different regions of Mexico. At each location you got your choice of meat/seafood and you had a variety of toppings to choose from. We also went to a seafood cart operated by a trained chef. This cart opens at noon and closes around 3 pm when everything sells out. I highly recommend the mackerel tostada. Along the way we also had an ice cream and finished the day with warm churros and tequila tasting. Miguel, our guide, is a historian and shared many stories about Cabo San Lucas and the different regions of Mexico.

Great small group experience, 4 helpers for 5 people in class. Wonderful experience in chef’s house. The market was fun plenty of explanation and history about what goes into the food, where was sourced how to select the breast produce that we were going to eat then went to the chef‘s house that was completely set up for the cooking experience

Allan, our guide, was laidback and informative. We had multiple tacos, tequila tasting, and dessert. Went to local spots and gave helpful tips. Well worth the value!
