We had a great time with the whole team. They showed us so many taco places and the histories around the food. They are wonderful people to hangout with and show you around the city. Make sure you pace yourself because you are going to be eating a lot

Great instructor, learned a lot about tequila history, not a mixology class as expected
The instructor was great. Very knowledgeable about the history of tequila and gave pointers on how to appreciate tequila without using mixers. This was not really a mixology class as expected. He made us one mixed drink each and just told us what he put in it. Afterwards he gave us like ¼ shots of different tequila and did a tequila tasting. Just not what i was expecting from a mixology class.

Book this tour, do it! You will not regret your ‘Juan More Taco’ experience with Miguel! Learning about local history and culture through cuisine was superb! So many delicious dishes! I will recommend this to everyone!

Wonderful food tour!
Loved it! Gilberto was our tour guide & he was so fun & educational. We learned more about Mexican culture, heritage, & the right way to eat! If you’re in the fence about this experience I would encourage you to book it.

Fun and learning combined in one. A great meal to boot.
Such a fun experience! Great food!! So much to choose from and an excellent chef to guide us through every step. His mother was also there as an assistant, and she was delightful. It was a cultural experience, and he also provides all the recipes for his dishes so we can make it at home.

It was a phenomenal experience that we recommend for anyone who loves Mexican food and has any interest in cooking it. He taught us a lot about what to get at the market and how to select fresh seafood, the history of Mexican cuisine, and then how to cook a full three course meal that was absolutely delicious.

A Great Experience!
I met Francisco at the mercado, where he took the group around and showed us all of the delicious foods available to us. He explained a lot of things we just weren't sure of, and we were able to taste several fruits and other unfamiliar foods. We then went to his casa, which he explained was also OUR casa, where we started cooking. We started with delicious hibiscus margaritas, went on to birria, rajas de crema, and Salsa Mexicana. All of that was enjoyed with our own handmade corn tortillas. I'm pretty sure we had another margarita, too. ¡Muchas gracias a Francisco, Norma, y Pablo!

Amazing Cooking!!!
Alma is absolutely amazing! We thoroughly enjoyed the time and learned some great tips! The guacamole, rajas poblanas, beans, chicken, and salsa roja were outstanding. We will be back next year and look forward to seeing Alma and Gladys!!!

A Must Do
This is my 3rd time visiting Alma. She feels like a dear friend... a dear friend with excellent cooking skills and recipes. Everything is delicious ana can be made when we get home with her detailed recipes. Every experience was different and fresh. I'll be back a fourth time for sure.

The most heartwarming experience ever!
This was the highlight of our entire trip to Cancun. I had gone with my boyfriend and his twin brother and we were welcomed with open arms by chef Alberto and his mother. They are a great conversationalist, and genuinely made us feel like we were at home. I'll go back to Cancun just for this trip, and I'm hoping that chef comes to Chicago soon so you can have us experience again. It's nice because it doesn't feel too touristy to do, and you still learn about the Mexican culture. The people and food is always a joy to leArn about. we made a lot of different food, the salsas were so good. He had made one of the day prior, and it was so good. We have to take it home. Everything was so beautiful, and I didn’t want that experience to end. If you want something more personal to do when you go to Cancun, I definitely recommend booking this!! ❤️❤️❤️

Fun Tour
We enjoyed our tour with Hector as our guide. Lots of food, so definitely come hungry. We enjoyed finding new "hole in the wall" places to eat/drink. The tour lasted about 4 hours from 11am to about 3pm. Would recommend to others.

BEST COOKING CLASS EVER
What an amazing experience! Before taking this cooking class I had no expectations and now leaving it I can say my entire trip was made from this experience! Alberto and his mother made us feel right at home as we made our 4 course meal! Having not taken a class before I’d wondered if I’d fall behind as the cooking occurred but Alberto ensured that we had an easy and DELICIOUS experience! If you find yourself in Cancun this is a once in a lifetime experience you can not miss out on!

Educational Food Experience
To be able to experience the authentic foods of Mexico and learning the difference was interesting. We had several options to choose from so depending upon your taste it fit all. Milton was glad to answer any of our questions and was very knowledgeable about the area. Would definitely recommend!!

Fun for all
I love to cook therefore, this was perfect for me. No matter your cooking skill, you will comfortable with this class. It is a hands on cooking class with the guidance from the chef. We first visited several local markets to pick up the needed ingredients by a van driven by the chef (plus a VW Bug driven by his assistant). Once back to his open air restaurant, we were taught how to make the perfect margarita. Then we got to work prepping the ingredients for our meal. Everyone got an opportunity to assist in the food prep. Chef was enthusiastic and provided a lively environment. We even had live music for our entertainment. We all left happy and full.
