Great 2 hour tour!
Iola was a knowledgeable and entertaining guide. We all really enjoyed the tour and her stories about St Mark’s and the Doge Palace. We’d recommend this tour.

Avoid Tiqets, Headout & Crown Tours when booking Venice tours. Use your Concierge.
We pre-booked a 'Skip the Line', guided tour of St Marks Basilica & The Doge Palace. We used a website from "Tiqets" but recommend that you avoid it. Our booking was sub-contracted to a company called "Headout" and they in turn sub-contracted it to "Crown Tours" . We recommend avoiding all these organisations. We travelled from London on March 4th. Our guided tour was cancelled via WhatsApp message the day before! Tiqets and Headout will not refund in full. Our advice - don't book via these websites . . . ask the Concierge at your hotel to arrange any tours. They will choose a reliable, honourable company for you.

Expert guided tour of small but important museum
Fomer residence/palace of powerful Borghese business and papal family with extensive art collection, both building and art aquired by the Italian government after institution of property taxes in the early 1900's. Now a museum, full of amazing Bernini marble sculptures and Carravagios not able to be seen elsewhere. Our guide was very knowledgable and enabled us to better understand the nuances of the family and art. Short tour of the extensive public gardens following.

Celebrating our 25th Anniversary in Rome
It was simply amazing. The tour guide, our bus driver, and the tour guide in Tuscany were all outstanding. I would recommend this company, City Wonders to everyone and anyone. Best experience ever. Great way to spend our 25th wedding anniversary 🩷.

D'abord j'ai compris que...
D'abord j'ai compris que le guide était un guide anglais la veille de l'événement. Je n'avais pas fait attention avant. Du coup, trop tard pour reporter ou annuler. Je me suis donc présentée et ai suivi le groupe en allant sur Internet pour avoir des informations sur les tombes que nous visitions puisque je ne comprenais rien aux explications. D'autre part, j'ai trouvé qu'il y avait beaucoup de blabla mais nous avons visité que peu de sépultures intéressantes. Donc un peu déçues quand-même. J'y retournerai par moi-même avec un plan.

Excellent Tour to WW II D Day Beaches & Normandy coast
The main tour guide was Daniel who was amazing; You could see his passion for doing this on a daily basis with a lot of supporting historical knowledge to set up this tour; Was great to see the beaches at Utah beach, have lunch, tour an apple cider operation, and finally end our tour at Omaha beach and pay respects to the US cemeteries; It was overall a great way to get into WW II history and pay respects to the many soldiers who gave their lives for our freedoms today

Interesting and very informative
Barbara was an excellent guide, lovely relaxed feel to the tour. She was very knowledgeable and you could tell she was very passionate about Rome and its history. Wonderful experience.

The trip was miraculous though it might get very crowded, some places had lines up to a few meters! So that's a minus. But hey, it's still amazing with a fascinating history

Rob was our tour guide and he was exceptional. We do a lot of tours and he def ranked among our favorite guides. We had been to the Met by ourselves and it was just so overwhelming. Go with a guide, it makes the experience so much more enjoyable. I learned so much!

Nice afternoon excursion but rushed and not well explained
We elected to do this tour in the afternoon (2:30-6:20pm). Were we to book again, we'd do it in the morning, and would perhaps select the penultimate catacomb and layered church. However, yes, you should see the Capuchin Crypt, one of the main catacombs, and a church with multiple below-ground levels. This tour accomplishes that. We met at the Bernini fountain plaza for a tour to kick-off at 2:30. Of our group, two families were incomplete of other adult members. The guide decided to wait about 15 minutes for them before entering on foot the nearby Capuchin Crypt as a large group. It seemed that the guide could not bring people in piecemeal - only as a group. The audioguide of the Crypt was 40 minutes, but he said we had to finish in 30 minutes. When people were a bit late the guide became angry and said the other half of the group was waiting for us on the bus. We bussed to the catacombs of Domatilla which are well-regarded but perhaps not the very top catacombs in Rome. The guide was again rushed, stating we needed to be out soon, even as we started. Our final visit was to Basilica dei Santi Silvestro e Martino ai Monti, a church with multiple levels below ground (church built over a church built over a church). As with the catacombs, the selection to visit was not the prime example of a church built on top of others (this is Basilica di San Clemente al Laterano). That said, this was the best part of the tour in that our guide was more relaxed and well-explained the archaelogy of discovering the historic churches below the existing churches.

Spectacular bucket list item lived up to the hype
What I can potentially compare this to is the trip to Neuschwanstein castle in Germany, however, Mont St Michel was even better and a must do if you have an extra day in Paris for a day trip; It was made even better by the duo of Dan and Onome as our guides; I had 2 full day tours by Dan who was amazing in both of them and I would highly recommend this for anyone that wants to mix up their travel itinerary; Timing was great too as i hear its super crowded in the summer and we were treated to fairly sparce crowds which was great.
