Lovely Florence
We had a lovely walking trip around Florence and went to the academia museum which was very enjoyable and interesting. We were going to the uffizi museum in the afternoon but due to the weather was cancelled but City Wonders refunded us promptly thank you. City Wonders is a very well organised tour company with polite and knowledgeable staff and we went on 3 tours which were all great and will be back.

Tour of Vatican Museum, Sistine Chapel and St. Peter's Basilica with Sev.
My wife and I visited Rome at the end of February. We took a guided tour from Sev of the Vatican Museum, Sistine Chapel and outside of St. Peter's Basilica. He was an excellent tour guide and very knowledgeable. We asked a lot of questions and he knew all the answers. The group was maybe 10 people and a good size. Thanks for the information, Sev. We would definitely recommend a tour of the Vatican City.

D'abord j'ai compris que le guide était un guide anglais la veille de l'événement. Je n'avais pas fait attention avant. Du coup, trop tard pour reporter ou annuler. Je me suis donc présentée et ai suivi le groupe en allant sur Internet pour avoir des informations sur les tombes que nous visitions puisque je ne comprenais rien aux explications. D'autre part, j'ai trouvé qu'il y avait beaucoup de blabla mais nous avons visité que peu de sépultures intéressantes. Donc un peu déçues quand-même. J'y retournerai par moi-même avec un plan.

Excellent guide
Unless you are at art history expert touring the Vatican museums, and the Basilica with a guide is an absolute must. Mariarosario was clearly an expert and thoroughly explained the layout of the museum and what we were looking at. The best part was her explanation of the Sistine chapel. The Skip, the line option with this tour was well worth it. I would do this exact tour again.

Amazing
Ilisa (sp?) did a very good job explaining the history of what we were looking at. The museum was kind of rushed, but was also very crowded with other tours. Time in the Sistine chapel was way too short, I could have stared at that ceiling for an hour. Amazing. The Vatican is huge, the tour only covered about half, but you can go back in on your own and wander around, and I suggest you do.

Our guide, Amy, did an amazing job of sharing history and facts about the Vatican without going into every detail of each building/piece of art (trust me, there’s a lot). We’re glad we booked the tour as it helped us learn a little more about the Vatican compared to if we did it on our own. Amazing experience!
