Okay, it's not cheap. One adult, two children, around €140. The tour was in English, and we were the only ones on the tour. It was worth it. Super friendly guide. The whole castle is a rather fine line between history and kitsch. Of course, right? The good Bram Stoker knows the castle from a postcard from London, then creates a vampire from a historical figure who doesn't really have anything to do with Bran Castle. And yes, the real Vlad actually visited the castle once ;) In general, I think they've managed to strike a good balance. The historical decor is lovely, and they've avoided excessive kitsch. At the foot of the castle, there's a market with various options for buying genuine Romanian handicrafts made in China at tourist prices. The price ranges are quite impressive. A resin mug with a skull costs between 50 Lei (about €10) and 250 Lei (doing the math yourself is always a good idea) (the same mug, of course). The kids were thoroughly impressed by the whole day. So, it's definitely worth a visit. Dogs aren't allowed, but with so many people, it would be quite an ordeal for them anyway. Zunächst habe ich die Tickets im Internet gekauft. Kann ich nur empfehlen, da ich so nämlich auch Kindertickets erwerben konnte. Ging auf der offiziellen Website nicht. Es wird eine Menge dazu angeboten. Fast Lane, Führung, extra Folterkammer und dieser Zeit-Tunnel. In typischer Touristenmanier habe ich einfach alles gebucht was zu buchen war. Ok, billig ist das nicht. Ein Erwachsener, zwei Kinder, so um die 140 €. Die Führung war auf Englisch und wir waren die einzigen bei der Führung. Hat sich gelohnt. Super freundlicher Guide. Das ganze Schloss ist eine relativ schmale Gradwanderung zwischen Historie und Kitsch. Ist klar, ne. Der gute Bram Stocker kennt das Schloss halt aus einer Postkarte aus London, bastelt einen Vampir aus einer historischen Persönlichkeit, die halt auch nicht wirklich was mit Schloß Bran zu tun hat. Und ja, der echte Vlad war tatsächlich mal auf dem Schloß ;) Prinzipiell finde ich den Spagat gelungen. Die historische Einrichtung ist hübsch, und beim Kitsch halten sie sich zurück. Am Fuß des Schlosses gibt es einen Markt mit diversen Möglichkeiten, echte rumänische Handarbeit made in China zu Touristenpreisen zu erwerben. Die Preisspannen sind auch beeindruckend. Eine Resintasse mit Totenkopf kostet zwischen 50 Lei (ca. 10 €) und 250 Lei (selber rechnen macht schlau) (also die gleiche natürlich). Die Kiddies waren von dem ganzen Tag beeindruckt. Kann man also durchaus mal machen. Hunde sind nicht erlaubt, wäre auf Grund der vielen Menschen aber auch eher eine Tortur für die Fellnasen. Liebe Grüße Andreas

Si vas por la historia de Dracula, solo vas a encontrar figuras de él en la publicidad de la entrada. Hicieron el intento de colocar algunas figuras de terror en algunas habitaciones pero parece un montaje hecho por ninos de primaria. Tienen dos experiencias adicionales (museo de tortura y túnel del tiempo) que son una completa estafa. Ρώτησα στην είσοδο αν επιτρέπεται ο σκύλος στο εξωτερικό μέρος του κάστρου για να βγάλουμε δύο εισιτήρια ή να μπει μόνο ένας και ο άλλος να καθίσει έξω με τον σκύλο. Μου απάντησαν να βγάλουμε και οι δύο εισιτήρια ενώ ο χώρος που επιτρεπόταν τα σκυλιά ήταν μόνο μπροστά στην είσοδο των εισιτηρίων ενώ είχε αρκετό εξωτερικό χώρο ακόμη. Επίσης τον σκύλο μπορούσαμε να τον έχουμε αγκαλιά αφού είναι μόνο 2 kg αλλά δεν άφηναν ούτε αυτό.
