Due to an unexpected delay, we arrived at the entrance around 5:00 PM and immediately asked the staff if it was possible to postpone our entry, precisely to avoid losing the tickets we had already paid for. Our request was met with an attitude we found genuinely unpleasant. The two women at the entrance (one named Andrea), along with the security guard, were rude, arrogant, unhelpful, and overly aggressive. We felt we were being treated superficially and rudely, even though we had simply asked for a reasonable solution to a problem with tickets we had already purchased. This was even more incomprehensible considering that, when we arrived, there was virtually no line and we weren't causing any inconvenience or delays during the entry process. As for the visit, our impression was equally negative. In our opinion, Bran Castle is a real tourist trap and not worth the price of admission. Its fame as Dracula raises very high expectations, but once inside, you realize there's very little to see. There are relatively few rooms open to visitors, and the tour can easily be completed in less than 30 minutes, especially considering the asking price. We fully understand that there may be strict rules regarding ticket opening times, but it's one thing to enforce a rule; it's another to do so with arrogance and discourtesy. A world-renowned tourist site should pay as much attention to the quality of visitor hospitality as it does to promoting its historical heritage. In short: excessively priced, a very short visit, limited content, and less than welcoming entrance staff. If you find yourself in Romania, we personally don’t think Bran Castle is worth the time and nearly €30 entrance fee. (Original) Oggi, 22 agosto, io e la mia ragazza, insieme alla nostra guida e a un gruppo eterogeneo di visitatori, ci siamo recati al Castello di Bran. Avevamo acquistato online i biglietti, per un valore complessivo di quasi 60€, con ingresso inizialmente previsto alle ore 13:00. Per un imprevisto, siamo arrivati all’ingresso intorno alle 17:00 e abbiamo immediatamente chiesto al personale se fosse possibile posticipare l’ingresso, proprio per evitare di perdere i biglietti già pagati. La nostra richiesta è stata accolta con un atteggiamento che abbiamo trovato sinceramente sgradevole. Le due donne presenti all’ingresso (una si chiamava Andrea), insieme all’addetto alla sicurezza, si sono mostrati scontrosi, arroganti, poco disponibili e con un atteggiamento eccessivamente “aggressivo”. Abbiamo avuto la sensazione di essere trattati con superficialità e poca educazione, nonostante avessimo semplicemente chiesto una soluzione ragionevole a un problema relativo a biglietti già acquistati. La cosa è risultata ancora più incomprensibile considerando che, al nostro arrivo, non c’era praticamente alcuna fila e non stavamo creando alcun disagio o rallentamento alle operazioni di ingresso. Per quanto riguarda invece la visita, la nostra impressione è stata altrettanto negativa. A nostro giudizio, il Castello di Bran è una vera e propria trappola per turisti e non vale il prezzo del biglietto. La fama legata alla figura di Dracula crea aspettative molto alte, ma una volta all’interno ci si rende conto che c’è ben poco da vedere. Gli ambienti visitabili sono relativamente pochi e la visita può essere completata tranquillamente in meno di 30 minuti, soprattutto considerando il prezzo richiesto. Comprendiamo perfettamente che possano esistere regole rigide riguardo agli orari dei biglietti, ma una cosa è applicare una regola, un’altra è farlo con arroganza e mancanza di cortesia. Un sito turistico di fama internazionale dovrebbe prestare la stessa attenzione alla qualità dell’accoglienza riservata ai visitatori quanto alla valorizzazione del proprio patrimonio storico. In sintesi: prezzo eccessivo, visita molto breve, contenuti limitati e personale all’ingresso tutt’altro che accogliente. Se vi trovate in Romania, personalmente non riteniamo che il Castello di Bran meriti il tempo e i quasi 30 € richiesti per l’ingresso.
