Great introduction to the flavors of kyoto

Fabulous 3 hrs with our guide Tak who was amazing and do knowledgeable and led us into 3 very different eateries to experience some delicious local food. We do enjoyed it!!

Matt was a great guide, he took round the area explaining some interesting things about the local area, stopping off at several different restaurants and street stands for some great tastes of the local culinary specialties.

Wonderful tour of the Tsukiji Fish Market

Glenda was a wonderful guide through the Tsukiji Fish Market. She shared so much helpful information, introduced us to local purveyors, and helped us pick out delicious food. The tour ended with a feast of sushi! I highly recommend this tour!

Great food tour, great area of Osaka

Our guide Akiko spoke very good English, was very interesting about the whole area, described the history, took us to a knife shop, a panchenko experience, as well as very tasty food. As we are vegetarian/ pescatarian she had to work hard at finding us interesting food - but it was great. Thank you Akiko

Delicious and fascinating tour

A really fab food tour. Wonderful Francois took us to really interesting places - eg a restaurant under railway tracks. Lots of delicious food and really learnt a lot about Japanese food. Highly recommended!

We had booked through Dial a Flight/Inside Japan. First class tour and given the circumstances that it was a Japanese national holiday weekend, our guide, Miyuki, certainly knew her stuff (and food). She managed to avoid most of the crowds and we eat in interesting venues. The best of which was the Japanese "Skewer" restaurant. Apart from the eating, Miyuki, gave us explanations of the sights we walked past. All in all we had a good time in Osaka, thanks to our guide.

Happy with Yappy! Loved our food tour!

We had the best time walking the Nihonbashi area with our guide, Yappy. He took us to several establishments and we got to try so many bites of amazing food. Yappy was extremely knowledgeable about the food and location, and he kept us smiling the entire time. Highly recommend Yappy and Arigato travel - we would love to come back and book another tour!

Lots of fun in Kyoto

We had a great time with Tak! He was friendly and knowledgeable about the area. We got to taste the local specialties that we may not have found on our own. Most of all, Tak even stayed with us after the tour was over to ensure we did not have any problems buying a souvenir.

A lovely food tour in Osaka

We had a great time with Miyuki as our guide for the tour. She was extremely knowledgeable, friendly and had all sorts of insights into Osaka's culture and cuisine. The places we stopped for food were all very enjoyable and were local dishes.

We really enjoyed our Kyoto Pontocho Walking Tour with Ryan, . 5 stars from start to finish, would highly recommend. We did several tours with Arigato and they were all great.
