A great evening out in Shinjuku

This was an outstanding evening in Shinjuku. Claire was very nice, incredibly knowledgeable, and took us to characterful places with delicious food that we could never have found on our own. Highly highly recommended!

A memorable Tsukiji breakfast tour

Our tour guide Shengeki took us on a tour of the Tsukiji food market where we sampled a huge range of seafood including the famous blowfish. It was an amazing experience, the food was delicious and our guide was so informative, we learned so much during the three hours we were together. We ate in places that we wouldn’t have found if we had been on our own and tried dishes that we wouldn’t have otherwise chosen. It was a real immersion in local life and a memorable experience. We would definitely recommend.

The tour delivered as promised on providing a wide range of food options from across town - we were stuffed! But what made it great were the sights and sounds from the many neighborhoods and different types of eating establishments that we stopped at - a feast for all senses. And our guide kept things so relaxed throughout the evening- no sense of rushing. It was a great night out.

Kyoto Matcha green tea tour lead by Eri was excellent. Eri was a wealth of knowledge throughout the tour. I highly recommend this tour for anyone who loves tea and wants to learn about Matcha.

Alex was our guide. He was very interesting and informative. His spoke perfect English and was easy to hear. He was on time and made sure we found our taxi . The food tour gave us a variety foods to try in 6 different venues. A truly wonderful and unique experience

Sugoi Foodie Tour!

We had a wonderful Osaka foodie tour with our informative guide Natsumi. She showed us various little known points of interest along the way. Natsumisan knew her away around to delicious food. She was very patient and calm when she waited in a line to get our dessert from an outdoor vendor too. Sorry we took so long to write review. We misplaced the business card and the email must have gone to our spam folder. Gomennasai! In any event, you will enjoy this tour!

Arigato travel We deden een food toer met Joshua, hij vertelde heel veel over Tokyo, bracht ons naar de meest typische bars / restaurants. We vertelden en lachten veel, aten typische gerechten en een goed dessert. Nice man, hij verdient een 10/ 10 .

Don’t Come Without Eating Breakfast First

This was a disappointing tour, especially considering the cost. We were 2 hours into the “FOOD” tour and the only thing we had to eat was a rice cookie. Me and my wife were both starving at that point. Part of the reason was a traditional tea ceremony that lasted about an hour. It was very nice but This wasn’t listed specifically on the itinerary. If it was then I wouldn’t have booked another tea ceremony later in my trip. Lunch was at a sushi restaurant but the table arrangements broke up the group so there wasn’t an opportunity to continue to get to know new friends met. While the guide was sweet, she was short on sharing information on the neighborhood or about different foods. In summary: - rice cookie - matcha tea and cookie - sushi - fried beef patty - beer - pasty.

Awesome Fish Market Tour !!

We had a great time with our tour guide, Kazuko, she introduced us to so many different types of tasty fish that we saw at the fish market. She was very knowledgeable about all the different seafood options available for us to eat for lunch. She is a very kind person and a joy to be around.

A stroll though old Yanaka town.

Our tour was fantastic. Our guide, Miki (?) spoke excellent English and was very knowledgeable about the area. We had lovely food, a beautiful tea ceremony and visited some great old shops and temples. But but we were mostly blown away by the walk around the area and hearing about its history, culture etc. We would highly recommend this tour. Thank you.

Fabulous intro to the delights of Shimbashi!

We had an excellent food tour with John on our second night of four in Tokyo. It was the perfect introduction to the best isakayas, restaurants and food in the area around our hotel. John was a great host - friendly, very knowledgeable (with an answer to all of our many questions!), and chose the tour spots perfectly. We had some delicious food, trying things we may not have been brave enough to on our own! The tour was around 3 hours and great value for money-we would highly recommend to all first time and even repeat visitors to this fabulous city and country! Arigato gozaimasu!

This tour offered a unique glimpse into a side of Japan that many tourists miss, making it a must for anyone seeking an authentic slice of the local food scene. The itinerary was diverse and well-paced, featuring several memorable highlights: Trendy Craft Brewery: A surprising find in Japan, offering tasty beers with a local twist paired with excellent snacks. Sake Tasting: An educational session exploring various sake varieties and subtle flavors, accompanied by perfectly paired small dishes. Okonomimura: Our personal favorite was visiting this multi-story building filled with small restaurants, where we enjoyed an incredible meal at a teppanyaki stall.

Traveling with a picky eater

We had Melissa as our guide and she is fabulous. We have a 12 year old is a very picky eater and somewhat shy. Melissa was able to sweet talk her into giving everything a try and managed to pull her out of her shell. Melissa also had great information and funny anecdotes about the area. One of the highlights of our trip!
