Feder was amazing and so wonderful. Great guide and interesting experience. Crystal clear water, incredibly cold and not for the faint of heart. ONCE in a lifetime for sure :)

Sure, there was a snowstorm we had to drive through. sure we’re getting dressed in a dey suit in the dead of winter to jump into 35°F water, but we were never really cold and we were never really scared, but we were overwhelmed by the beauty and the experience. On a passé plus d'une heure à préparer et mettre la combinaison (qui est super pour supporter l'eau à 0°) par contre il ne faut pas être claustrophobe parce que la tenue compresse bien et à peu près partout Sinon et c'est pour ça que je peux pas mettre plus d'étoiles, mettre une heure voire plus à mettre la tenue, à avoir froid comme j'ai jamais eu froid de ma vie... pour une activité si courte c'est vraiment beaucoup de souffrances avant pour peu Par contre l'activité en elle-même est super et à nouveau Nikolas l'était aussi

Our guide Hilmar (hope i got that right) was fantastic! We booked the Snaelefess peninsula tour and it was great and highly recommended to do during a stay in Iceland. We had a lot of stops and enough time to admire the nature. Hilmar was very informative and a really good driver, however the road conditions were not good, he and the team of arctic adventures managed to get us back to Reykjavic in time. Thanks to arctic adventures and especially Hilmar!

We had a lot of stops and enough time to admire the nature. ***SILFRA SNORKELLING*** Having no shelter to change into the dry suits and get undressed/dressed was boarding on dangerous with -12 degrees outside. There was no organisation when we got there at all. We were on a big bus of people dropped off by arctic adventures. When we arrived no one knew what we were doing, just standing out in the freezing cold. Groups were then allocated to guides however we had no idea what group we were in (no one did). When we finally got into the dry suits and down to the water the actual guide and experience was phenomenal and such an incredible thing to do but the organisation or the whole thing and the lack of shelter with somewhere to get warm was really poor. The 400m walk back to the change area when you get out of the water would be fine in summer but in -12 it meant that our head sleeves and gloves instantly froze making them almost impossible to get off and freezing our fingers, which would have been ok if there was a warm place out of the wind to get changes, not just out in the snow. ***GOLDEN CIRCLE AND NORTHERN LIGHTS*** On the golden circle tour the guide just dropped us off at locations and told us when to get back to the bus with no guidance of the area or walking around with us giving us information like many other guides out there. The tour says in 1:19 however the second part was 1:30 on a big bus when searching for the northern lights. Again there was no information given as to where we should be looking or what was going on. It’s was a really poor experience from start to finish with the guides having no enthusiasm at all. Literally just bus drivers. Other guides from other companies were helping us with where we should be looking at further information as arctic adventures were useless

I highly enjoyed my 6-days around Iceland in small group adventure. Driver/guide was LOCAL and awesome, minibus with trailer were in A1 shape, schedule was perfect and it was great to have people from all over the place as fellow travelers. Meeting point in Reyjkavik was across the street from my guesthouse <3

Amazing experience. Sara was our guide and she was great, very quick to get our kit on and ready to go. They provide all the kit, you just get ready on the bench steps in the meeting point. Sara explained everything in detail and helped us through the route. It is cold but not as cold as you expect - until you get out! The hot chocolate was a very nice touch, warmed me right up! Photos are included for everyone and uploaded the same day.
