Magga was the best! So friendly and very informative about Iceland. Her stories about the Viking brothers and about Norse Gods were fun to hear and her singing was good too. Greatest guide I had

Gretta was amazing tour guide, very friendly and with a big smile on her face. She was waiting patiently for us to take photos of the Northern lights and she also took photos of us! Also, the lava cave was great experience and the guide also amazing! Would highly recommend!

Have tried contacting Arctic Adventures three times about our trip on 10th Feb regarding the snowmobiling and ice cave tour. The tour was initially rescheduled due to bad weather from the Sunday - understandable. I called them the evening before the Monday to ask about the tour as the weather forecast was just as terrible for that day, to be told it was going ahead. When we arrived in the pouring rain, we got all the way to the glacier to be told the ice cave was cancelled due to weather conditions, yet for some reason the snowmobiling went ahead. I am contacting them to get the ice cave part of the tour refunded, as due to the severe weather and pure lack of visibility on the snowmobiles I think it’s the least we deserve. The experience itself wasn’t great - we couldn’t see a thing and consistently lost our track, including hitting a small snow hill which threw us off the snowmobile. This wasn’t the fault of the instructors granted, but the tour definitely should not have gone ahead. It wasn’t an experience really, it was a battle to get from A to B with a whole afternoon and evening almost wasted for nearly £450. As mentioned, I’ve tried to contact you three times offline about this so hopefully you’ll see my message.

Review for Arctic Adventures – 7-Day Around Iceland Tour I recently completed the 7-day Around Iceland tour with Arctic Adventures, and while I loved exploring Iceland, I felt the experience could have been better in a few areas. What I Loved ✔️ Incredible locations & great weather – We were lucky with the weather and even got to see the Northern Lights! ✔️ Fantastic local food stops – Our guide took us to some amazing little cafés and restaurants, as well as a tour to a stone collector, which was a unique experience. ✔️ Comfortable accommodations – All the hotels were pretty good and well-chosen for the itinerary. What Could Be Improved 🔴 Communication Issues – Customer support was difficult to reach, and replies were very slow. The time difference doesn’t help, so I’d strongly recommend that they set up a WhatsApp number for real-time updates and communication. Travelers often have SIM card issues, and this would make it much easier to stay informed. 🔴 Less Adventurous Than Expected – • After the Wilderness Center, the trip felt more relaxed rather than adventurous. While Snæfellsnes was beautiful, the north didn’t offer much to do, and whale watching was just okay. • The Ice Cave tour felt short and rushed – it would have been great to spend more time exploring. • A snow hike would have been a perfect addition to break up the driving-heavy days. Final Thoughts For those who don’t want to self-drive, this tour is still a great way to see Iceland’s highlights. However, for my next visit, I’d rather stay in Reykjavík and do day tours with more adventure—snowmobiling, glacier hikes, ice caving, and lava caves. Would still recommend for a relaxed, guided experience, but if you’re looking for more hands-on adventure, consider planning shorter, action-packed excursions instead. 🚙❄️✨

I went on the Snaefellsnes & Kirkjufell Small Group Tour to Ytri Tunga beach for seal spotting, Búðakirkja, Arnarstapi fishing village, Djúpalónssandur beach and Kirkjufell & Kirkjufellsfossar. It was a lovely, relaxing way to see the Peninsula and we were well looked after by our guide (I think it was Aron?) with enough comfort breaks and plenty of time at each stop. After a great experience I also booked the Magical Auroras - Small Group Northern Lights Tour, with Arctic Adventures, with Nikos as our guide. We checked the forecast and drove to Thingvellir - when a load of other coaches arrived I was worried, but it was because this was the place to be. Perfect timing from Nikos meant we got to see the lights dancing above our heads in an incredibly beautiful show. This was an amazing experience - thank you!

Great tour and thermal experience! It seems like a long day, but time just flies by with many chances to get off the bus and stretch one’s legs. The sky lagoon was a perfect way to end the day.

(Translated by Google) Terrible communication. They don't respond to emails and when they do respond, it takes days. One of my tours was canceled and they won't refund me. In addition, the tour doesn't have a specific guide. The driver is the guide himself and he talks through the bus's sound system, which is terrible. In addition, we took a multi-day tour focusing on the Northern Lights, but we only have the Northern Lights Hunt on half the days, the rest we have to sort out ourselves. My wife Tori and I experienced the Six Day Rimg road Tour last summer. Bjork was our guide and Driver. She was very connected to Iceland having grown up there and developed many relationships East, South, west , and north. Not only was she informative and open to questions , but had a seemingly infinite supply of anecdotal info and humor in all points of stop destinations and in between on the drive. On one occasion, her awareness of the upcoming weather and her ability to be flexible saved our whale watching excursion. Getting a consensus of our van occupants, she agreed to call and reschedule the excursion for the night before our reservation. It was a success. Countless sightings were experienced and it would been cancelled if she had not possessed out of the box thinking. We made many friends from other far-off countries and exchanged pictures with them I recommend this trip for singles or families of any activity level. We have traveled extensively in Europe via Rick Steeves book suggestions and Iceland was otherworldly and amazing. Again , thank you Bjork for making our trip wonderful.
