I booked Arctic Adventures for the majority of my activities in Iceland. I went there solo and wasn't certain what to expect. My first two days were self appointed activities in Reykjavik, and then I booked the 4 day tour that included: Golden Circle, South Coast, Jökulsárlón & Ice Cave Tour, black sand beach, diamond beach, countless waterfalls, glacier hike, tectonic plates, hot springs, etc. Accommodation was taken care of all three nights and the last day I separated to another group for the volcano hike & what was supposed to be a northern light tour (which sadly didn't happen, but I was refunded for bc they canceled before departure.) It was tolling being on a bus most of the day, but helped to get off on frequent breaks to see the sights/use the restroom or grab a snack, and I felt adequate time to do so. Pickup/dropoff was very smooth and the tour guide was extremely knowledgeable. Food options a bit slim, so I recommend packing things to munch on in between as well. You can refill water at most places! Overall, an unforgettable experience & would definitely use this company again :)

We had Justinas as our group tour driver and guide and honestly, he’s the best I’ve had! Had a great sense of humour and very very knowledgeable. He added a lot more fun to an already beautiful trip to the Kattla Ice Cave and glacier.

From the dramatic waterfalls to the black sand beaches, Iceland’s natural beauty is undeniably captivating. However, my experience was somewhat marred by the actions of a few inconsiderate tourists, which I believe warrants attention 🚩 While exploring sites like waterfalls and Reynisfjara Beach, I noticed several people, particularly those from the Far East, ignoring clear boundaries set for nature preservation. Many of them breached fences and ropes, seemingly in pursuit of that "perfect" photograph, completely disregarding the environmental consequences of their actions, and their safety. At one point, a group even blocked the view I was trying to capture to take their own pictures without any regard for others around them. This lack of respect for both the environment and fellow tourists was frustrating, especially given the delicate state of Icelandic nature. The country has stringent rules in place to protect its pristine landscapes, and such behavior only endangers these iconic locations. I urge tour guides to remind their groups loud and clear about respecting nature and the importance of preserving the beautiful sites we all come to see.

We had a good experience with the Aurora Tour on Feb 14th. Our driver and guide -whose name started with B and asked to be mentioned as "B.B. King" for easiness... hehe- was super nice and had a fantastic energy. The auroras were not that strong initially, but he did not give up until we got them! A memorable night and a good service received, thank you!!

Fantastic 6-Day Ring Road Tour with Summer Glacier Hike and Winter Ice Caving - As it says on the tin. Fantastic. Did it with my 12yo son who enjoyed it as much as I did. Our guide Sigurður was very knowledgeable and interesting. He was also very quick to find alternatives to replace the sites we couldn’t visit if the weather was too bad, or add some stops if we had more time. We were lucky to be a small group so the mini bus was very comfortable but i can imagine how it would get too much if it was full especially with all the bags and 4 seats at the back that are quite narrow and from where you can not really enjoy the view while on the road. All accomodations were nice and clean. Especially the wilderness centre that is worth the drive. All in all I highly recommend this tour. My son and I had an unforgettable adventure.

We booked the Golden Circle and Snowmobile tour on the superjeep and had an amazing time. There is a lot of driving, but the jeep is comfortable, and each stop has restrooms and a cafe/giftshop. The stops are amazing, and our guide Snibjorn was funny and accommodating while also providing history of Iceland at each stop. We loved Thingvellir and also snowmobiling, which was the highlight of our trip. Worth the money and experience.

We went on our northern lights tour on 11.2.25 and our photos have not been uploaded. No reply from the company via email. Where are our photos? Very disappointed photos were part of the tour.

The two days South Coast tour with Eliza was absolutely fantastic. The itinerary was well planned with many incredible stops (with few bonus stops) including toilet break along the way and we’re lucky with the weather. Even luckier with having Eliza as the guide and driver. She's passionate about what she does, shown by the way she explained everything (history, geology, even interesting Icelandic saga). I appreciate that she always took the time to explain each place, inform us the next stops and what to expect (not all guides do this, so it’s not something we can take for granted) and just on top being a fun and cheerful guide. Totally recommended.
