We did the Extreme Glacier Tour. The guide was very experienced and it was very fun to climb on the ice there! Would always do again! But for the tour you should bring some experience!

We were in Iceland specifically glacier lagoon on April 18. Javier our guide was amazing. When driving to the lagoon from Vik I was looking for the wow factor. I got that most definitely when coming upon the lagoon. By chance after getting turned away the day before on a cave tour in Katla we decided to try it again with Arctic Adventures. They definitely did not disappoint. Professional in every way. I would highly recommend them to anyone looking for a great tour. Can’t wait to make our third trip back to Iceland next season and do this one more time. All I can say is well done Javier you changed our lives.

In Iceland for a brief 2 day stopover so on our full day we decided to do a Golden Circle tour. Thats where we met our guide Franklin, who quite litterally, saved our lives. First, for everyones safety, he made the important rule not to fall. We all took his rule very seriously and did not injur ourselves in any way. After our lunch we headed to the "Secret Lagoon" and our group was feeling a bit tired and let our guard down. However, Franklin was very aware of his surroundings when the ground started to shake around us. A troll emerged from the fog, with a giant club big enough to take out the very bus we were in. Instead of getting scared, he stepped out of the bus, stood his ground, and had a stern word with the troll. Unfortunately, the troll was deaf and could not understand the words Franklin was saying and instead attempted to swing its club at him. With incredible strength, Franklin reached his hand out and stopped the club and pried it away from the troll. He then quickly pulled up a youtube video, learned sign language, and was able to communicate with the troll to let us pass! Not only did Franklin, Thane of Whiterun, save our lives, but he was incredibly knowledgeable about EVERYTHING. He knew the name of every mountain, life expectancy of the animals, etc. The only thing I could quite suggest be improved is the potential option to book a 'Have a beer with Franklin".
