For reference, the tour we did was in early October. This review is almost purely a polemic, but the one disclaimer to that disclaimer is that the guides we interacted with in person were all fantastic - very helpful, professional and spirited. That being said, the tour description (regardless of the purveyor, be it arctic adventures or GYG) was incomplete in some incredibly critical areas. The combo tour for silfra snorkeling and golden circle site seeing is 10 hours, and no explication vis a vis lunch or food/calories planning is offered. "What to bring" is limited to clothing and your voucher. Additionally and more crucially, the snorkeling changing setup (out of your clothes and into the dry suits) is completely uncovered, which means you are exposed to the elements the entire time and WILL 1000% get wet and freezing cold if it is raining on any but the warmest of days in Iceland, no matter the attire you bring with. We called to reserve rain gear the day prior to the tour but it isn’t provided until after snorkeling is completed, and this detail was not shared with us. Beginning the day wet and cold depresses the entire experience from there if the weather remains untenable. You stay wet. The transition pickup from one tour to the next (snorkeling to golden circle) is unclear as well. Skip if raining unless you enjoy being freezing cold all day long. Edit: After the excuse-filled reply from the company, I have decided to downgrade this to a 1 star review. As I said (and the quote given from the snorkeling handbook does nothing to satisfy or dispute this reality of how the tour is arranged), when you change into the dry suit, you are NOT PROVIDED SHELTER OF ANY KIND. So it doesn’t matter if you bring gloves, a hat, warm clothing of any variety, because you must strip down to your thermals while completely exposed to the elements. I maintain, the communication is subpar at best, and leading with a long list of excuses that fail to address the core complaint about the tour suggests a management philosophy which seeks to avoid accountability. Skip this place.

Wonderful 6-day around Iceland tour by this company. Well planned itinerary, punctual pickup and comfortable van. Shout out to the most amazing tour guide Mr. Hjalti Björnsson, who is not only a professional and knowledgable guide, but also a friendly and passionate person who showed us the ways of a true Icelander. We were really fortunate to have him as our tour guide. Overall, I cannot recommend this tour enough.

Went for northern lights superjeep tour. Absolutely worth it. The guide Pali didn't stop hunting the lights until we saw them dancing above us.

We completed a three day tour of the Golden Circle and South Coast at the end of October. Both the tour and our guide, Krzysztof, were fantastic! The whole tour went smoothly, including the journey through a snowstorm, in the dark, on our way to Adventure hotel Geirland. Krzysztof was friendly, informative and helpful throughout the tour. The sites were amazing and Krzysztof’s knowledge and facts made them so much more enjoyable. He kept us entertained throughout. We had a great group of people from various places around the world. The staff at Adventure hotel Geirland were all friendly and helpful. Our tour also incorporated a glacier hike which was an amazing experience. Our guide for the hike was Ivo who, as well as keeping us safe, was entertaining and informative. We would definitely book with Arctic Adventures again.

Just finished a 5 day tour, The Best of Iceland tour, and hands down this has been the best trip I have ever taken! I travel a lot but everything about the trip was 10/10. We were blessed to have the best tour guide anyone could ever ask for. Seigi is a retired professor so everything he explained was in his teaching form captivating everyone’s attention the entire time! They give us plenty of time at each destination. Hotels were nice, the last hotel where we spent 3 nights, Adventure hotel, was 10/10! Highly recommend this tour company and if you’re lucky, you’ll get Seigi!

My wife and I come from a warm country—Taiwan—so witnessing such stunning glacier scenery was truly extraordinary for us. It was something we had never experienced before, and it has become a remarkable memory in our lives. We also want to express our appreciation to Ms. Kira, who guided us throughout the glacier hike with great professionalism and ensured everyone’s safety at all times. Beautiful! Before starting the trip, customer service via email are really friendly for our enquiry. Our tour guide Siggi is very professional. Time management is good and we have a lot of time for photography and sightseeing. Also, he explains a lot about Iceland when driving or dining. We can know more about Iceland history and languages from him. He suggests great food and restaurant to us! We are happy within these 6 days and saw a lot of beautiful places in our first Iceland trip. I hate eating lamb before coming iceland. After trying lamb soup and lamb steak by this trip, I am fall in love with all lamb food in Iceland. I eat lamb everyday in my trip. I will come again and eat lamb in Iceland next time. Thanks all.

Nils is an amazing driver and gracious host for Iceland. From Interstellar to Star Wars plus letting us all try Sanbo chocolate licorice, it was a treat to tour the South Coast with him.

Done the south coast tour with Nils, absolutely amazing so much better and more interactive than the golden circle tour, plus our driver Nils made the long journey so fun for all of us and gave us little quizzes (with prizes), music and brilliant advice/ information for each destination, would give 10 stars if we could

We booked the Golden Circle and the lava cave tour with Arctic Adventures in Iceland this week. Our guide and driver for the day Justin was really informative and very funny, so made the travel between locations really fun. A fantastic trip run very efficiently, would highly recommend!
