I’m really disappointed with my recent snowmobiling and ice cave tour experience. The main reason I booked this tour was to visit the ice cave. However, after snowmobiling all the way to the glacier, we were only then informed that access to the cave was not possible due to weather conditions. While I completely understand that weather can be unpredictable, what’s not acceptable is that the company appeared to know this in advance but didn’t communicate it to us before the tour started. Had I known, I would have cancelled or rescheduled. What added to the frustration was the lack of proper follow-up. Instead of addressing my concerns, I was simply sent a satisfaction survey. Overall, the experience did not match what was advertised, and I feel let down by both the communication and customer service. I would not recommend this tour based on my experience.

We loved the Northern Lights tour by Arctic Adventures. Everything that was advertised in the brochures was delivered. Our guide/driver was really informative during the tour. He also has a good sense of humour. Thank you Arctic Adventures for providing an unforgettable experience of Iceland.

Fabulous adventure with our friendly and knowledgeable guide Nail. Silfra fissure is stunning. Arctic Adventures were the most competitively priced so we also booked glacier hike through them which was equally thrilling.

We were SO excited to go on a glacier hike but we were met with crazy bad weather when we went to Iceland. To the point where we were advised not to leave our Airbnb and not to use the car so the doors wouldn't come off (the winds were super fierce). So we needed to cancel our hike, but it was JUST after the 24-hour period, and they refused to refund us. It was so unfortunate!! They said no cancellation, which includes "circumstances such as flight delays, adverse weather conditions on route to the tour, or health issues. We understand that this may be disappointing, and we empathize with any inconvenience it may cause." which is INSANE. So if I had to go to the hospital, they would just be like sorryyyyy. Will never be using them again!

I joined the Katla Ice Cave tour yesterday, and what an incredible experience it was! ❄️ The whole day, booked through GetYourGuide, ran smoothly from start to finish. The adventure began with a super jeep ride that was as bumpy as it was fun 🚙💨 One of those rides where you can’t help but laugh and hang on as you bounce across the rugged terrain. Once we arrived, we were given crampons and helmets (all provided and easy to use), and a short walk took us into the heart of the ice cave itself. Stepping inside was surreal, layers of crystal‑blue ice mixed with streaks of volcanic ash, constantly shifting and glistening in the light. ✨ What I loved most was how accessible it was. The ice cave part is easy and suitable for anyone with moderate fitness, but it still feels adventurous and unique. The tour also included stops at some breathtaking south coast spots 🌊 like the majestic waterfalls and the famous black sand beach, making it a well‑rounded day trip that captures so much of Iceland’s beauty. I can’t recommend this tour enough! If you’re looking for something unforgettable, educational, and full of character, this is one experience that truly delivers. 🇮🇸💙

Our guide was absolutely amazing. Was our first time doing this and she made it so easy. She told us loads about the place itself and teaching us on the go. Sorry if I am spelling your name wrong but thank you ever so much again Pati. You did amazing ❤️

Weather cancelled my flight to Iceland. I called to modify the date of my excursion, but because it is within the 24 hrs, they wouldn't do it. Apparently they run the snorkeling during hurricane force winds. This is just a company that wants to keep your money. I don't want to cancel, I don't want a refund, I want to modify the date. Very disappointed. I cancelled my other excursions with them. I'll use someone else. Don't book anything with them within 24hrs of your arrival. I can't rate their tours, but I can rate their policy and customer service.

Magga was an excellent guide. Her knowledge of the attractions and history of the Ring Road was extensive, and she was a very safe and skillfull driver over many hours in very tricky conditions. Thankyou Magga. Accommodation was varied, experiential, but overall very satisfactory. A very interesting, and stunningly beautiful route, and, generally, good value for money.

My partner and I had a great time on the Glacier and Ice Cave hike tour, with our lovely guide Guillaume! He made our trip fun and playful, he was attentive to the group's safety, and shared a lot of information about the formation of the glacier and ice cave. Thank you, for a wonderful experience!

Excente tour Magga es una persona muy profesional en la labor de guía en nuestra excursión, yo no tenía comprado el tour de las cuevas y la ballenas y ella muy amablemente se contacto con el operador y me conseguido una persona que hable español para poder acceder a ese tour, y así fue gracias Magga

El guía que nos tocó genial... Ahora bien, es una turisteada a gran escala, llegamos al glaciar, al cual se puede acceder perfectamente en 4x4 , a las 9:45 de la mañana; alli había 5 autobuses y 12 furgonetas jeep. Después de 15' caminando llegamos a la sona de "cuevas", teniamos delante 46 personas , a las cuales había que esperar en cada rincón a hacerse fotos, para poder avanzar...Sin duda alguna no merece. Así se van a cargar el glaciar, es degradante pagar 135 euros para ver algo que puedes llegar por ti mismo y encima ver mas turistas que hielo...

Vimos unas auroras espectaculares. Reservamos un tour en grupo reducido 4x4 y la experiencia fue muy agradable. El conductor realizó un excelente trabajo: buscó el lugar adecuado y tuvimos la paciencia de esperar hasta presenciar, sin duda, el mejor espectáculo de mi vida. Como sugerencia de mejora, habría sido interesante que el conductor ofreciera algunas explicaciones o información sobre las auroras. Además, nos tomó algunas fotografías, pero no eran profesionales y se realizaron cuando las auroras aún no se apreciaban con claridad. Con todo, la experiencia mereció mucho la pena y la recomendaría. ☺️

Just got back from an amazing trip with Artic Adventures. Our guide Lili went above and beyond to make sure we were able to see everything we wanted on a short 3-day trip. We saw black sand beaches, diamond beach, waterfalls, rivers, ravines, icebergs, and even rescheduled a glacier climb and ice cave tour after our original tour was cancelled at the last minute due to weather. When the cancellation created a hole in our schedule, she got us into a local pool (we did not have a lagoon visit in our itinerary) to experience Iceland’s local pool culture. It was fantastic. Our hotel was clean, comfortable and welcoming. It’s not a luxury hotel, but zero complaints for a cost effective vacation focused on experiencing the stark beauty and mesmerizing landscape of Iceland. Thanks Lili for a wonderful adventure!
