I would look elsewhere for a tour, especially if you are doing a multi day tour. The buses are incredibly cramped and uncomfortable. If you have the unfortunate luck of getting picked up last you will probably get an undesirable location on the bus. The shuffling of layers, getting on and off the bus and the tight lap belts is exhausting. Beyond the undesirable bus situation, we have found there to be several inconsistencies with information provided and the reality. They really do not publish enough information online about the activities and what physical requirements are needed. Today’s activity is was not accurately described. Another example is saying that you need to buy and bring your own crampons where as when you arrive to the glacier hike they are provided. Would rather pay a bit more for a more comfortable experience.

We did both the south coast tour including the glacier hike, and the snorkelling at silfra fissure and had such a great time - thank you Arctic Adventures. Thor was a great guide; Lukas was very knowledgeable on the mountain ranges and glacier trek; and Illiana was brilliant on the snorkel tour. 100% recommend both of these excursions!

MUST READ for ASIAN TRAVELLERS: I had a mixed experience that unfortunately ended on a very poor note. Our 4-day South Coast and volcano tour was great, and I initially appreciated their flexibility in rebooking our Northern Lights tour due to cloud cover. However, my rating dropped from 5 stars to 1 star because of the guide on the rebooked tour. We experienced an apparent racist attitude, and the guide's service was unprofessional—dropping us off at a random spot across the road instead of the designated bus stop. Very disappointing end to the trip. Asian travelers, you may want to consider other providers, I seen review that this has happened in the past.

The 3-day Golden Circle & Southeast coast tour was wonderful, and my family made core memories. The highlights include waterfalls, a geyser, hiking on a glacier and into an ice cave, and most importantly, seeing the northern lights! I’m not normally a fan of bus tours and this small bus tour was great. Our guide, Alex Dobre, helped make everyone’s trip amazing. Alex was informative about all the locations that we visited. He drove well, even in snowy and windy conditions. On the one night on the southeast coast when we had clear skies, Alex used multiple apps to know when the group had to get outside to view the aurora, and then drove us to a good viewing location. He also took great photos of us in front of the northern lights. Alex was also a great human. When personal issues arose for guests, he was able to assist with kindness and still keep the tour on track. This tour definitely exceeded my expectations!

The ice cave tour is absolutely amazing. Our guide who drove us from Reykjavik to Vik, Franklin was amazing. He was very knowledgeable and entertaining. For the cave tour we had Leif, who was also amazing. He knew so much about the history of Katla and the ice caves. He also made us feel comfortable while traveling through the caves. The only downfall to get to the caves. It’s very bumpy but we made it there safely with Leif driving! Would highly recommend this tour

I took a 3 day tour with arctic adventures to Golden circle, South shore, and ice cave in early March with tour guide/driver Lily. I wish I had chosen a different tour company or had a different tour guide. I would like to have more stops at Golden circle, and not having our guide rushing us through all 3 stops there so we can get to the hotel which is maybe like 3 hours away. Looking back, it will be better off to choose a golden circle day tour or a similar tour but maybe with nice travel. All the places we visited were beautiful, that I only hope we get to see more of it. Anyway, The pickup came pretty late the first morning. I had to wait at the bus stop for like 30 minutes, and mine wasn’t the last pickup stop. To make up for late start and bad road condition as it was on and off snow that day, Lily seemed shortened stop time at all 3 stops at Golden circle, about 20 minutes at the national park including time for rest room stop, about 40 min at the Geysir including lunch time, then about 30 minutes at Gullfoss, which I don’t feel that there is enough time for me to go to the upper platform viewpoint after spending sometime at the lower platform. The hotel we stayed is called “Adventure” which I wonder if owned by the same company. It has very basic room, and a pretty expensive restaurant with a limited menu as the only dining option for both nights. The 2nd day morning went fine. I am a bit annoyed when Lily was suggesting not to stop by diamond beach. I had to speak up to get that stop which was mentioned in the tour. More unfortunately for the second day, when arrived at the place to start our ice cave journey at 1:15pm, we are told it’s cancelled for possible lightning. After like an hour, Lily rebooked us on another ice cave hour the next morning. Trying figure out what to do for the rest of the day, I suggested that we start some activities which was originally scheduled for the third day. Lily refused stating that it’s out of the way. I mentioned that I felt that we were rushed the first day, and don’t want the same experience again. Lily said that we won’t be rushed the next day though we are adding 3 to 4 hours ice cave tour to the next day schedule. Her only offering for the rest of the day is the local pool or cafe, or rest at the hotel. After I refused to go to the pool after seeing it from the outside and wanted just walk around, Lily and I had a talk. Lily said I was rude to her. She said that she already tried her best by rebooking us. And other tour guides would simply walk away. What she said actually upset me more. She makes me feel like I am at her mercy for the tour . We paid $883 per person for the 3 day tour with ice cave experience. We could get a day tour to Gold Circle and another one for south coast for a little over $200 total. The hotel room we are staying is less than $200 for 2 per night. So we are paying $400+ each to do the ice cave tour, and not wasting time to go back and forth. While she was on the phone with someone trying to rescheduling, she said that she didn’t want drive back as that’s where we just come from. I am guessing that didn’t want drive back to diamond beach where ice cave tour is also offered. The first couple sites on the schedule for the 3rd day is only 15 minutes away from the hotel. I don’t understand why 15 minutes drive is so out of way, that the tour guide couldn’t flexible with the schedule to ensure us to have time to visit especially as the weather is actually good the second day afternoon. The third day, we had snow in the morning, and rain in the afternoon. We arrived back in the city a little after 5pm on the third with 3 hours Kayla ice cave visit. The actual time walking on the glacier and visiting the ice cave is less than 1 hour. The jeep ride took about 2 hours, and the jeep were cool. We were soaked as we had snow or rain at all stops. The only afternoon with good weather, the ice cave tour got cancelled, and tour guide refused to go to the site’s scheduled for the 3rd day 15 minutes away.

如此的棒。游览了南部所有值得观看的景点、虽然冰岛天气变化很大、但也特到了独特的乐趣。导游magga的冰岛神话故事也很有趣。可能未来会尝试旅行社的其他线路。

We luckily had the opportunity to book in late to the Peninsula tour due to our Golden Circle tour being cancelled due to weather (separate tour group). We were so grateful to be able to have the opportunity to experience more of Iceland and it definitely didn’t disappoint! Simon was our tour guide and he was extremely knowledgeable and friendly. We had plenty of stops for snacks and toileting. The bus itself was cleaned and tidy and benefited from wifi! We had about 7/8 stops in total. Although the weather was difficult, we felt safe the entire time and managed to still get great views. Black sand beach was beautiful with the shipwreck! We were also so lucky on our last stop to see the seals!!!! There was a lunch stop included and the local food was lovely! Lucky for us it wasn’t at all busy but there were a few different restaurants to choose from. We had a lovely time and we couldn’t be more grateful to Simon for keeping us safe in the very windy/snowy conditions!

I feel that Hjortur would stop at nothing and do everything in his power to give people a Northern Lights spectacle. We went on the superjeep tour with him during Feb26. He found the most excellent spot in a dark area way off the road, only the superjeep could have got there. Hjortur was full off fun, took some awesome photos and gave us an experience we'll never forget. Thank you Hjortur and Arctic Adventures.

Booked the small group south coast & northern lights combo with Arctic Adventures for 24/02/26 and was an absolutely incredible experience. South Coast was through their partner company your day tours which I was a bit worried about at first but the experience was better than expected. The Northern Lights tour with Arctic Adventures however was amazing! The guide was fantastic and took plenty of photos for us, the hot chocolate and brennivin were very much needed with how cold it was and were the perfect things to really warm you up. The photos taken by the guide were also great and really picked up the lights. Overall fantastic experience and gutted I didn't book another tour through them in the end as it was a far better experience than another well known company I booked a different tour through
