Excellent tour. Stops were well planned out and our tour guide, Thor was very knowledgeable of Iceland. All beautiful stops on this tour. Plenty of time for shopping and many bathroom opportunities. Great value. Highly recommend.

The South Coast Tour was a great experience. Maggie, our tour guide, gave us a full history of Iceland’s origins, the founding of Reykjavík, and the geological features of Iceland as we drive to the first site, a glacier. Later she entertained us with tales from Norse mythology, Icelandic ghost stories and legends of wicked trolls. We had plenty of time at each site to enjoy the natural beauty of waterfalls, the ocean and snow-covered landscapes. It was a beautiful day and an unforgettable experience.

I did the 3-day tour for the golden circle, south coast, glacier/ ice cave and LOVED IT. My tour guide G was very knowledgeable, enthusiastic and had amazing time management. Our tour got delayed 4 hours because of a yellow level snow storm, but G made it possible to still visit every spot on the itinerary. Thank you G! 10/10 recommend!! I’m only giving a 3-star rating because I did the Magical Auroras - Northern Lights minibus tour a different night with a different guide and was so disappointed with the experience. Not because we didn’t see the lights, but because there was no effort in “hunting” for them. It didn’t seem like my guide cared & I didn't learn much about the auroras. We went out to one spot, after 10 minutes of being there, all the other big tour buses left to try other spots while we stayed back. After over an hour of waiting, he served hot chocolate and said we were going back to the city to get dropped off. After nights of poor weather conditions, this was the only night I had left to see them and the skies were partly clear with some clouds, so I was hopeful. I would’ve been happy knowing we actually tried and just didn’t get lucky to see them rather than standing around until enough time passed to give up. I later learned that the other buses that left, saw them. I went with this company because I had a great experience on the 3-day tour but unfortunately this wasn’t the case for the northern lights one.

This review is for the northern lights tour - amazing experience and smooth pick up and drop off. The guide was experienced in finding a great spot to see the northern lights and very enthusiastic and helpful throughout the night. They say luck is preparation meeting opportunity, and arctic adventures very much provided the preparation part that allowed us to see some spectacular auroras!

Had an amazing dive with Jassen. Couple of items stood out. First, they let me dive with my reg set, had a din adapter. Second, from suit up to in water, less than 20 minutes, which included a 7 minute walk. Lastly, we did a swim through, which was unique. Great experience and would highly recommend Arctic Adventures to dive with.

Booked a snowmobile and ice cave tour with them specifically for the ice cave portion. The ice cave portion was closed however we weren’t notified of that until halfway through the tour and the guide advised they did know about it ahead of time- so it was quite deceitful. I understand you can’t control the weather however being upfront is important. It ended up being a 30 minute snowmobile ride. Customer service was zero help.

An absolutely incredible experience with Arctic Adventures! The whole trip was super enjoyable from start to finish, and I 100% recommend it to anyone. We had a fantastic group, but the absolute highlight was our guide—simply the best! They really made the experience unforgettable.

Really impressed with our tour guide Siggi A. He provided the right amount of information in a timely manner, drove like a pro in adverse weather conditions, he was fun and funny, handled changes to the itinerary due to weather smoothly so we felt taken care of the whole time. I would definitely travel with him and Arctic Adventures again.

Tour Experience Undermined by an Underwhelming Guide, Missing Photos, and Lack of Honesty We chose Arctic Adventures’ Northern Lights Super Jeep Tour largely because they advertised that photos would be taken and provided. From their website: “Your guide will tell you all about this natural wonder and take free photographs so you can always keep the memory alive!” Unfortunately, the guide provided very little meaningful information about the northern lights during the tour, which made the experience feel less engaging than expected. During the tour, photos were clearly being taken. The guide set up a tripod at multiple stops, took numerous photos of both the northern lights and participants, reviewed images on his camera, and even directed people for better shots. At the end of the tour, we were given a QR code and told the photos would be available afterward. Unfortunately, the photos were never posted or shared as promised. While that alone is disappointing, the bigger issue is what happened next. After multiple follow-ups, we were told that photography wasn’t possible due to weather and wind — which is simply not accurate. Not only did we observe the guide taking photos throughout the night, but we were also able to capture images on our own phones. Because we relied on the guide’s photos, we didn’t take our own family pictures — something we now regret. The missing photos are frustrating, but the lack of transparency and the misleading explanation afterward are the main reasons we cannot recommend this company.

Terrible customer treatment, would not recommend. Supposed to have a glacier hike on Monday which is an hour out of our way so we drive through harsh conditions and a bad road to the car park only for no one to turn up. We pay for parking and toilets and wait for 45 minutes in rough conditions and still no one is here. What company in their right mind decides to cancel an experience due to bad weather without informing tourists that it’s not happening. This is extremely unsafe and also them not informing us of this cancellation caused us to be stuck behind closed roads and trapped in bad conditions. I completely understand cancelling due to weather but the sheer lack of information provided to us is appalling. For £180 you go to a booking because you won’t get it back if it happens so this company has created an extremely unsafe situation and I will never book with them again. I highly recommend that if anyone wants to do any winter activities they book with other companies.

Absolutely fantastic tours. The lady with the Northern Light was great, -11 and still with a sense of humour!! The gentleman on the Golden Circle was brilliant, knowledgeable and funny. Highly recommended company, if I visit again I will definitely use them

Their refund policy is ridiculous. Apparently if you book combined activities and the one gets cancelled by them they refund you partially not for the half of the money you paid but only partially calculated and based on the percentages of discount you got when purchased. Talking with numbers 257 was paid for ice tunnel and snowmobile tour ( this got cancelled) and the refund I got was only 70€ when half of my adventure was cancelled. Totally unbelievable! I would give 1 star but our guide Sigi for katla ice cave and Omar for ice tunnel and snowmobile ( which was cancelled) were incredible and nice people ! Sigi is the best guide and it’s a sad working with such company which raids the customers in that way …
