we had a hard time choosing a cenote but this was the right one for us. pricey, yes, but beautiful, clean, and exactly what we wanted. somewhat busy, but no real lines and people generally stayed out of each other’s way. a big space, plenty of water to check out and swim around in. chilly, but nice to warm up on the grass above the cenote. altogether a simple, nice spot. $500 peso admission, $30 for a locker (which we didn’t use, at our own risk), and goggles included.

(Translated by Google) The place is very beautiful, there is not much to say about that. However, there are other cenotes quite close to this place which are also very beautiful, or even more beautiful. The big downside for me is the price which I find really excessive (500 pesos) for a fairly ordinary cenote. If you have the means to go there you will still have a good time. But the value for money is not good.

It costs $500 pesos per person; not $190 as listed! Kinda a shock at over twice the price. But it was nice. Lots of turtles. Refreshing cool, super clear water. Not that big but without too many people, it was good. There’s absolutely no signage. We biked right past it & had to go back. 25 mins bike ride from La Veleta. 2 kms on the highway.

Se recomienda tomar una mototaxi, ya que caminando es un poco alejado y de noche si no llevas lámpara es complicado. Y lleven su repelente de mosquitos porque sí que hay bastantes. Pero la verdad el lugar es muy bonito. (Translated by Google) It is recommended to take a motorcycle taxi, since walking is a bit far and at night if you don't have a lamp it is complicated. And bring your mosquito repellent because there are quite a few. But the truth is, the place is very beautiful.

(Translated by Google) The place is very nice and swimming with little turtles 🐢 is a great experience to do with the family. On the other hand, the price is high in my opinion and there are quickly a lot of people. Once again you have to come early (Original) L'endroit est très sympa et nager avec des petites tortues 🐢 est une chouette expérience à faire en famille. En revanche le prix est élevé je trouve et il y a vite beaucoup de monde. Encore une fois il faut venir tot

The places we went were amazing and we had great experiences once we were there… but the tour company was completely disorganized and I don’t understand their business practices. What was supposed to be a 6 hour tour, started 2 hours late because we had to change vans to go pick up other people, then go to their office, then pick up more people, then drop them off… etc etc. we literally changed vans 11 times through the day and the tour went 4 hours longer than anticipated. Once we got where we were going at each stop it was great, but the experience in between each activity was pretty terrible. Do yourself a favor, book a private tour because in retrospect, saving $20 bucks a person to join a group was not worth the crazy we dealt with.

Great. Good to do on your own. Pay the parking and minimal entry fee, bring a picnic lunch and enjoy your day. The tour guides will try to stop you on the way in saying you have to be part of the tour. You don’t have to stop. Just drive to the gate. Just past the entrance is an inexpensive parking lot. Cash, debit and credit is available for the entry. Can’t remember how much I want to say $8 usd each person, young children is discounted. Do - bring your own snorkel, life jacket, (you can rent as well), snacks and towel. Bring a water proof camera if you can. Shower before entering the water (free showers in site). Bring water to drink. Don’t - leave the area that is roped off, don’t stand up in the deep end as it disturbs the ecosystem and the turtles good source There is change rooms, washrooms and lockers on site. Don’t leave money on the beach - lock everything up. They do have guides on the beach if you decide you want to be part of it. I suggest trying it yourself first and you’ll see how if you go to the rope you’ll see the same thing. We have paid for a tour and done it a few times on our own. We didn’t see anything more or less either way. And truly felt rushed as a group. They do have a few vendors that are sometimes available for purchasing snacks but don’t rely on it. Also, the restaurants just outside are higher priced and more rushed.

We took our 8 & 12 year old to the ATV, Cenote / Cave / Underground River, Zip line & Rappel Tour this afternoon. We had a blast. Tour was well organized starting with a sitting zip line into the water to cool us down. Then ATV to the cenote. We got to explore the cave, swimming into different areas (about 30min) of it. After, we ATV to more zip lines. In addition to the zip line into water, there are 3 mini zip lines, a small zip line, a medium one and a really long one that lasted almost 2 min. The medium one is the fastest one. We didn't end up doing the 3 meter rappel, which is fine by me. My little boy was a bit disappointed though. They fed us at the end of the tour as well. Nothing fancy. Just yummy authentic Mexican food. All in all, a really fun adventure. Jorge was our tour guide the entire time. He was amazing! Highly recommend for a family adventure!

(Translated by Google) This playa has nothing free. Everything is paid and cannot be accessed freely. The reserve has been privatized, I don't know if by the government or by a private organization. It feels like being in an aquarium, the turtles live constantly surrounded by dozens of people who are relentlessly sent by local agencies who try to maximize profit in every way. The guides try to instruct people for no less than 2 minutes not to damage the ecosystem and the turtles, but it is inevitable that this does not happen. We have even seen people kick involuntarily at turtles that are not trapped but due to the fact that they have a circle of people around them, they delimit their space and prevent their freedom. One hundred square meters of habitat exploited to the maximum. I write this review knowing that I have been part of the problem, I urge you not to finance this business. We saw the turtles and they were cute. Unfortunately, as in the entire coast of Tulum and its surroundings, unbridled tourism and the interests of local companies have ruined this place.
