Firstly when we booked, our pick up location was promised to be at our hotel. Later, after 10 pm (to be exact) we were informed of our new pick up location, located several blocks away. Everyone else was picked up directly from their hotel. The only highlight of our day were the caves/cenote, which surprisingly wasn’t even the main reason for booking the tour. The end of the tour, after the water activity, I specifically asked where to change into my dry clothes, and was immediately told not to worry since I was getting dropped off in front of my hotel. So I didn’t, I stayed in my wet clothes waiting to be dropped off as promised. Once again, everyone else was dropped off in front of their hotel, but when it came time for me and my families drop off, even tho we were the last ones, we were denied the exact same service as all the rest. We were dropped off several blocks away, being refused to be taken back to our hotel, with wet clothes. Therefore due to the gross incompetence of BOTH sales staff AND tour company, I would strongly advise against booking with any and all tour services provided by Maya Adrenaline.

No one spoke English, and no one made any effort to assist us in any way. This was one of the most frustrating and disappointing experiences of our trip. There are plenty of safer, better-managed cenotes in the area. Grand Cenote is a trap. BEWARE.
