Absolutely one of the best tours ever. Our guide was very knowledgeable and passionate about the history. He gave us some insight and allowed us to see history from different points of view. Would very highly recommend this tour.

A great way to enjoy the wine country, especially if you don’t have the time to spend the whole day on the trip!
Great experience to St.Emillion. Detailed guide on the history of Bordeaux and wine country. The guide Rodolphe was exceptional and very amicable. I went with my wife, and my mother in law who’s physically challenged but Rodolphe was extremely caring and considerate to choose the best course for all of us to enjoy. Definitely recommend!

Matt was an EXCELLENT, and I mean top of the line guide. He knows his stuff, and even shared many facts and perspectives that I was not personally knowledgeable on. I’m serious, this guy is probably the best guide I have ever had and I am traveling CONSTANTLY. It’s incredible how he explains what was going on historically before and during WW2, and provides context for some of the storylines that aren’t exactly published in books or general public knowledge. He has even gone to the extreme of interviewing survivors and local people who have directly experienced WW2 and German occupation. Talk about dedication to your craft. The most important thing about this tour (stated by Matt) is everyone, especially every American, should make it their personal mission to learn about these stories and history. He is right- the first hand accounts are few and far between, and it is actually important we learn our own history. You cannot truly learn this without an experience like this. THANKS MATT!

Strasbourg, a page out of a Fairy Tale
Our next destination during our European Vacay was Strasbourg a quaint town on the Alsace which is called, the Christmas Capital of the world, and as our agenda to visit Strasbourg was in the winter during the Christmas season, there were dozens of holiday markets and fairs with food, drinks, handcrafted goods, and many decorated Christmas trees with twinkling lights around the town, hence this city has been named as the Christmas Capital of the world, Set on the Rhine, Strasbourg is one of the finest medieval towns in Northeast France. It's also one of the most photogenic places you can visit in Alsace. With its historical monuments and striking architectures and the city's finest building Notre-Dame Cathedral, which is definitely one of the best Cathedral i have ever seen. it was definitely a place worth the visit. We were staying at Hotel Vendome which was just opposite the Railway station, we had a very good view of this small quaint town. We enjoyed walking around this quaint town and the various holiday markets and fairs and trying the various types of food, cakes and delicious wines being sold at the fairs. It is definitely a must visit for Holiday makers traveling around France as its very close to Paris and especially for those traveling France during Christmas, Strasbourg is a must visit to enjoy the Christmas season.

Medieval Castle
Our tour guide was excellent and very personable. A great tour but very fast! Would have liked to spend more time at each of the places. The medieval castle was definitely the highlight of the tour! It was amazing to imagine how people lived when this castle was originally built. Thank you for a wonderful day!

In spite of the weather!
The weather was tricky and at times grim, but even at its worst, Laurent's engaging and humorous patter--as we explored the castle at the end of the day--let us forget if not even enjoy the howling winds! Beautiful villages--especially Eguisheim--and pleasant countryside, with a delightful guide of native expertise.
