Leo and Mano for the Win!!
Driving through the countryside in a vintage Fiat 500 was even better than I could have imagined. Leo and Mano were incredible guides and made the whole experience unforgettable. They gave a great introduction that made me feel completely comfortable driving the Fiat from the start. The scenery along the drive was absolutely breathtaking, and every stop along the way offered amazing views as well. Toward the end of the tour, we drove to a beautiful private villa where we enjoyed a lovely lunch. I truly could not have asked for a better experience. Leo and Mano went above and beyond to make it such a memorable day.
Vintage Fiats in Tuscany! Wow!
Absolutely fantastic! Driving vintage cars in Tuscany was amazing! Our Guide Manolo was excellent. The lunch was great and included a picturesque view. Highly recommend.
Fantastic Fiat Fun
This was our most memorable adventure on our trip. The cars are beautiful and if you drive a manual, a blast to drive. If you don't want to try the manual shift, they have Vespas and automatic electric fiats. After our lessons and test drive, my husband jumped behind the wheel and we took off through the Tuscan/Chianti countryside. I was the photographer/videographer. Before I go further, let me say that the group met at the train station and then took a bus to Walkabout's garage in the country. We didn't drive in central Florence. Beautiful roads that weaved in and out of gorgeous hilltop vistas, stone or hedge walls and pretty villages. We stopped at a pull off to let everyone soak in the beautiful views and get some info about the area. Then I switched to the drivers seat. Wow. How cool! We stopped for an open-air Italian lunch at their farm. So lovely. We also stopped at a hilltop monastery with a beautiful church and gift shop. It was over too soon. I could have driven all afternoon but alas, another group was coming for that pleasure. The staff were fantastic. Chris. Massimo, Gabriel, Gregoria, and Giuseppe. sorry guys if I got your names wrong or missed anyone. Massimo, the man who lovingly tends to the vehicles, and my husband bonded over their love for automobiles. Chris and the other group leads were so patient in teaching us how to drive our respective vehicles. An absolutely fantastic day! One more tip. If two people want to drive but also ride together, that is an option. Example, we switched halfway through rather than each going solo in a car. It was worth every bit of the cost in my opinion.
A real Italian experience
It was a great experience, our guide Fabio was super and so knowledgeable, we had a fantastic drive through the Tuscan countryside. From our guide, to the car, the lunch and the buses and drivers, everything was spot on. We would highly recommend this tour
Awesome day!
Awesome day touring the hills of Florence in a vintage Fiat500. Christian and Fabiano and the rest of the crew were excellent hosts.
