Elena great host and FIAT 500 fun!
I was so looking forward to this , and it did not disappoint Elena was a super host and lead car driver. We had a mix of Vespas and Fiats during the tour. Alot of fun driving these vintage machines!!We made a few stops - countryside (view of Tuscany) , city side (awesome view of city center) and our lunch spot which had amazing views. Thanks Elena!
The cars were a fun way...
The cars were a fun way to see the countryside The only reason I gave it 4 was because the time wasted getting everyone ready to go was well over one hour. Then they charge you for water as your held in a big garage for over one hour. Just be aware of this time
Fun day outside Florence.
Elena was a great guide, explaining how to drive the Fiat, doing a test drive around the garage to ensure we were comfortable then out on the road she safely led our group of 4 Fiats up and down hills and through narrow winding streets. A couple of stops along the way to take scenic photos then a delicious lunch and Chianti at the Walkabout Tours private estate overlooking the hills of Tuscany. A great once in a lifetime experience.
Great fun!
Great fun driving a vintage Vespa 500 around the Tuscan hills outside of Florence. A 20 min bus ride at the start and end of trip gets you to their garage to start and end your drive. Hosts Chris and Gabriel were friendly, encouraging and professional.
Very little driving included
Disappointed. Not value for money or a rich experience. Because we were the only Fiat in a larger group of Vespa riders, after being shuttled to the garage location from the meeting point, we waited another 90 mins for them to do their safety checks. Probably drove only 10km in total. This is not a 6-hour experience. One bowl of ordinary pasta for lunch, 2 bottles of wine between a dozen participants (ok, we were driving after all) but everything felt less than generous and light-on. Maybe we were just unlucky on a day when we weren’t in a group of Fiat drivers. Disappointing. Won’t recommend.
