- Suitable walking shoes are mandatory for those doing the hiking – no flip-flops. Suggestions: walking boots or sneakers, closed toe shoes with non-slip soles.
- If you want to swim during free time, please remember to bring your own towel and swimwear.
- On rare occasions the boat ride will stop operating due to bad weather or strong winds. It is beyond our control so no refunds or discounts will be issued.
- In case of unexpected closure of the paths for unforeseen events, alternative routes will be taken instead for those doing the hiking
- A large amount of walking is involved for those doing the hiking. You must be of average fitness and be able to keep up with the rest of the group.
- Due to uneven surfaces, we cannot accept anyone with walking difficulties, below average fitness, or young children.
- Minimum age is 8 years.

A Long, Full Day, But Worth It
This is a long day trip from Florence, but it was definitely worth it! I did not do the hiking or Pisa and so I saw all five towns plus had a nice half hour boat ride. Looking back, I should have asked to do the shuttle bus instead of walking up over 400 exhausting steps in Corniglia. That town was quite small, but we did have an OK lunch there. It's a long day with the bus ride to La Spezia, but I'm glad I did it and would recommend it. The three guides did an excellent job of keeping everyone organized and on schedule and the whole day was very well-run.

Beautiful sights
The meeting place and finding our group was easy. Our guide, David, explained how the day would unfold as we made our way on the bus. He was clear in his instructions and was informative about our destination. We visited 3 of the 5 and probably the best 3 villages. Taking the boat was a no brainer because the views were amazing. Stopping at Pisa was great a just enough time to enjoy the sights without getting bored. This all made for a long wonderful day.
This is a long day trip...
This is a long day trip from Florence but worth every bit considering the amount of sites you get to see and memories made. The one thing on my Italy bucket list was seeing the coast and colorful houses on the cliffs. Cinque Terre brought that dream to life. Pisa was a pleasant surprise, it wasn’t necessarily on my radar to go and see the tower but I’m glad we did. It’s a crowded but cool spot, and the other historic buildings nearby are equally stunning. Our tour guide, Jo, was a pleasure to follow along with and learn from all day. She took great care of us and the group, showing a genuine desire to make the day as enjoyable as possible.
