Traveler reviews
WOW! WOW! WOW!
Our driver and tour guide were amazing, so knowledgeable and interesting and true gentlemen. We loved the tour and were very impressed with our lunch experience.
Fabulous time in Baia Areas
Domenico our driver was incredible. He was punctual, kind and a joy to have as a driver. Pie guide Tomaso was fabulous as well. We saw magnificent ruins and we were the only tourists at them! It was amazing not having any crowds. Our guide was very knowledgeable and we learned so much. The van was very big, clean and comfortable. We weee 4 adults and one child. It was the perfect way to see Baia and the surrounding areas.
Sunken city of Baia: a wonder!
Unforgettable experience with Nemo Sub! We were lucky enough to discover the sunken city of Baia thanks to Antimo and Michele di Nemo Sub, two passionate and highly trained professionals. On board their particular vehicle, a sort of mini submersible, we were able to admire the archaeological remains kept under the waters of the gulf, living a unique and suggestive experience. Antimo and Michele guided us competently, enriching the visit with historical details, curiosities and anecdotes that made the trip even more engaging. Their sympathy, availability and passion for the sea and cultural heritage make this excursion something really special. If you want to discover Baia from a different and fascinating perspective, Nemo Sub is your best choice. An experience that I highly recommend to anyone who loves history, the sea and authentic emotions. Gen. Pig Marcello & family (Danielle, Lorenza, Luffe, Livia and Laura)
Well, they didn't give us enough time...

Well, they didn't give us enough time to fully explore Cuma. Then, the water quality was too bad to see the underwater city of Baiae. Even worse, we weren't given any time to explore the above water ruins of Baiae. I feel that the tour spent too long on lunch...when it could have allowed us to tour the above water ruins.

Overall, this was an ok tour, but I feel that it is overpriced for what it actually delivers.

One of the reasons we wanted to stay in...

One of the reasons we wanted to stay in Naples was to see the archaeological sites visited on this tour. We were given free time to see the amphitheatre at Pozzuoli, which was fascinating as you can walk underground to view where the animals and gladiators were. We also visited the Temple of Serapis, which isn't open, as it floods, but you can view from above. We then went on to the ruins at Cumae where again we had free time to explore ourselves. The lunch at a seafood restaurant in Baia was excellent and the trip on the glass bottom boat to see the underwater ruins was amazing. Our guide was very informative about Naples and knowledgeable about the history of the area, and gave us the opportunity to stop for photographs.
