Fantastic experience, I've wanted to come since I was a child

We had a great experience on this tour, and it was very informative whilst also being entertaining. We got to see many areas of Pompii on the 2 hour tour. All staff, both running the tour and giving instructions on where to go were very understanding and gave instructions in a clear way. We were in a tour group of around 10 not including us, which means that we did not get left behind. Beautiful views of the natural area, and great understanding of the history.

It can be very tiring...

It can be very tiring walking around, wear good footwear and a hat essential. Our guide Elija was very informative.

Pompeii

The experience was amazing but our tour guide was NOT! She never waited for our group to gather around before she started talking. Then she would just walk off without saying anything. We would walk for several minute, passing many things, without saying anything. She was not excited about being there or giving us the tour. I would love to praise Claudia, the Viator guide on our bus. She told her about our experience with the tour guide. She then went out of her way after the tour to show us a local pizza place for lunch.

The itinerary may vary from day to day depending on the opening of certain offices, depending on attendance. One building per category is guaranteed to be visited-1 Temple, 1 Market, 1 Shop, 1 Villa, 1 Thermal Plant, 1 Theater, and the Forum. The choice of buildings visited is determined from time to time by the guide based on attendance, waiting times in case of long lines, or opening hours of the buildings. - The tour includes a visit to a Cameo factory, the Cameo is a typical Roman-era jewel found during excavations at Herculaneum and Pompeii in 1748. In the factory you will be able to see a craftsman at work, the cameo is a piece of jewelry made from congeals and precious stones and is hand engraved by the craftsman. A visit to the factory will allow you to use the toilets free of charge before entering the excavations, so the stop at the Cameo Factory in addition to being informative is essential in terms of managing your visit to the Pompeii excavations. The tour is confirmed in the chosen language if the group reaches 6 participants; if the group does not reach 6 participants, the guide will be replaced by an audioguide in the chosen language or your choice in an English-language guide.
