Good to know
- A valid driver license is required, bring the original with you! A copy or a photo is not accepted
- Minimum participant age: 18 years
- Previous experience riding a scooter is recommended. The tour leader reserves the right at his or her absolute discretion to terminate the participation of any rider who is unable to ride the Vespa safely.
- Vegetarian option is available, but we regret that gluten free or other alternative dietary requirements cannot be catered for
- The type pf Vespa you will be driving is automatic with no gears
- Menu for lunch is bruschetta, pasta and a cheese and salami board
- Pregnant travelers cannot participate to this activity
- We request to sign a waiver for damages incurred to the vehicle because of customer negligence or error while driving. Only third party insurance is included

A great day in the Florence hills.
Great day! The Vespa driving test isn’t easy. You must show throttle control and a slow speed hairpin turn in order to pass. The area used for the test is narrow with hills. If you haven’t used a twist throttle before, you need to only use about 3 millimetres of the throttle. No throttle when turning. Some traffiic in the hills was encountered, but the guides managed our group well. For those that weren’t comfortable on the Vespa, they had the option to drive a 2 person electric fiat car. We had a very nice pasta meal (gluten free available) at a beautiful location with amazing views. Helena and Gabriel were great leaders. Positive, safety minded, and honest with their feedback. I would recommend this tour. Thanks
Absolutely enjoyable
It was a splendid experience , Gabriel had been amazing from the meeting point and thoroughly explained all the safety and gave us all a test ride before we started the trip - lovely Vespa ride and a good lunch to end it all.

Great time seeing the Florence countryside. Make sure you have some experience with motorcycles, scooters and can drive an automatic Vespa in advance. It’s about 1.5 hours of driving the Vespa. Rest of time is riding bus to location, safety check and lunch. Guides are great.
