Vespa Tour
This is a great tour .. loads of fun and beautiful scenery.. to ride the Vespa .. you need to pass a test as you go out on the open roads … if you don’t pass they give you a tiny car to drive and follow behind the scooters .. not everyone passed or felt confident driving the Vespa’s… and to honest if you haven’t driven one before or are not confident you might struggle … the guides are great .. give you lots of info … definitely a tour to go on.
Gorgeous Countryside
We had a fabulous experience with Mano as our guide. He was funny, friendly, and knowledgeable about the regional history. Such a good time!!
It was great. Very well...
It was great. Very well managed and interesting. Leo and Massimoto did a wonderful job looking after us
not a good experience
Gregory was one of the most disrespectful people I have met in a long time. The way he talked to women was absolutely unacceptable and truly disgusting. The sexism and misogyny was truly something I haven’t seen this bad in a long time. This excursion was a lot of money and to have to taken away by someone who was supposed to be our tour guide and representing our tour group was very sad. The words that were said to me and my friends were truly some of the most profoundly rude comments I have heard. He was also a massive button pusher, as there were times I practically begged him to finish the conversation he was basically having with himself, but he continued to push my buttons. Almost as if he wanted me to get into an argument with him over something I would never get into an argument about. Many of the comments included things about his age and money as well which was super weird and made us very uncomfortable. He talked a lot about his multitude of jobs and money he made and how “he could pay out of his own pocket to give me a refund because he has so much more money than that.” On to the age thing he told me “I’m 29 years old you better look at me when I talk to you”. As if age has anything to do with the situation and even so we’re not that far in age nor talking about age, so werid. He said a lot of comments as well about how me and my friends were gonna die and break things even before trying out the vespas, which he never did with the men or to anyone else. I and my friends are very aware the dangers of riding a Vespa and we really loved that this tour let you try it out first, so they could provide you with alternate transportation if you seemed unconfident. Which if the opportunity called for us to not be on vespas, my friends and I were okay with that as I know these tour groups value safety. But the way we’re not even given a chance and talked to how we were talked to was the part that really stuck with me. It was a very tough situation that I really wish we had not gotten stuck in. He also continued to try and make amends at the end all so we would tip and leave him a good review, which was absolutely not going to happen. I really hate to say this as well but I do feel as though the tour was extremely rushed and the dinner we were promised was more of just an appetizer. Definitely not $123 dollars with a person even with the beautiful scenery. I felt as though people should know what they’re getting into when they read into this tour, as I would not wish this experience on anyone. Truly disgraceful and heartbreaking that this happened to my group, allowing someone with such rude and sexist ideals to be on this tour team is what is going to hurt this company.
