Join a small-group guided e-bike tour led by Haight-Ashbury locals — the SF tour that actually shows you SF. Most SF bike tours stop at Fisherman's Wharf, take a photo at the Golden Gate Bridge, and head back. We do the opposite. We start in Haight-Ashbury (the soul of San Francisco), wind through Golden Gate Park, cross the Golden Gate Bridge, and stop at the spots only locals know — hidden viewpoints, the best burrito on Valencia, the staircase that gives you the city's best skyline shot. Powerful Rad Power e-bikes flatten SF's hills, which means you can cover 15-20 miles in 3 hours without breaking a sweat. Your guide is a Haight-Ashbury local who's been leading these tours for years — not a college student reading from a script. The tour stops at: • Golden Gate Park (Conservatory of Flowers, Stow Lake) • The Panhandle and Painted Ladies • Crissy Field with stunning bridge views • Across the Golden Gate Bridge to the Marin Headlands viewpoint • Photo stops at hidden local spots you won't find on other tours What's included: • Premium 2024 Rad Power e-bike (sized to you) • Helmet, lock, water bottle • Local guide (max 8 guests, real attention) • Curated photo stops (you'll come home with shots that don't look like everyone else's) • All taxes and fees 3-hour duration. Departures at 9:30 AM and 10:00 AM. Free cancellation up to 24 hours. Locally owned since 2013. 1,000+ 5★ Google reviews.

We had such a fantastic time on our bike tour. Eli took our whole family through Golden Gate Park, the Presidio, over the Golden Gate Bridge and to the Painted Ladies. The route he picked was perfect, calm and scenic. He was incredibly knowledgeable about the history of the city, and we all learned a ton from his commentary. This was probably our favorite afternoon of our whole trip!

Would recomend. Great checkin/orientation, super fun bikes, miscommunication about return timing but they made it right. The issue: The shop closed early when we were trying to return our bikes, and we couldn't get ahold of anyone. With early flights the next day, we weren't sure what to do. However, an employee did get in touch with us later that night, they were very apolagetic, and they picked up the bikes from where we were staying. Next time we'll double confirm return timing and make sure we have contact info for after-hours in case anything comes up, but I would still rent from them again (especially if reviews correctly indicate this is a 1-in-1000 mistake). The good: Despite the shop being busy, checkin was smooth, friendly, and informative. The bikes are well set up with front basket, bunjee, locks, lights, chargers. We got rear kid seats with and without bars, both a hit with kids. Fat tires make all the trolley crossings a non-issue. They were a great way to see SF with our friends, much easier than renting a car or driving around or taking public transit. Slight caveats: The highest e-assist level is borderline for some of the steepest hills, especially with a 40lb+ kid, and feels a little more like turning off/on an electric motor than having pedal superpowers the way the Bosch motor on our Urban Arrow at home feels; and the saddle is a little uncumfortable due to its shape after a couple days. So I might not buy this model myself, and if Dandyhorse is getting a 2nd generation those points could be improved a little, but we still had a great time.
