Most SF tours show you what's on a postcard. The Soul of SF Tour shows you what makes locals love this city. Led by Haight-Ashbury locals who've ridden these streets for decades, this 3-hour e-bike tour winds through the neighborhoods that define real San Francisco — the Mission's mural-covered alleys, the Painted Ladies at Alamo Square, the Castro's rainbow-flagged sidewalks, the staircase climbs of Telegraph Hill, the food culture of Valencia Street. Our route has hidden viewpoints, dive bars locals love, vintage shops worth the stop, and street art you'd never find on your own. Premium e-bikes make SF's hills disappear. You'll cover ground a walking tour can't, see the city the way locals see it (not from a tour bus window), and have time to actually stop, taste, and take photos. What you'll experience: • Haight-Ashbury (where the tour starts — the soul of SF counterculture) • Alamo Square + the Painted Ladies (the iconic SF skyline shot) • The Mission District (murals, mural alleys, taquerias, vintage shops) • The Castro (history, pride, great cafes) • Telegraph Hill (stairs you walk on a regular tour, we ride past on e-bikes) • Hidden viewpoints, secret staircases, and spots the chain tours skip What's included: • Premium 2024 Rad Power e-bike • Helmet, lock, water • Haight-Ashbury local guide (max 8 guests, real personalities) • Curated stops at locally loved spots (food, drink, art) • Photo opportunities with all the angles your friends back home don't have 3-hour tour. Daily departures. Free cancellation up to 24 hours. Owner-operated since 2013. 1,000+ 5★ Google reviews. The tour SF locals send their visiting family on.

E biking is an amazing way to see SF and glad to have an option for family to rent when they visit. However, our most recent experience was poor. A family member rented here; the shop was closed on the contracted date of return stated on the email from them. My family member waited in the cold and they never opened. Hours later, the owner returned my call and offered us to bring it back add hoc. There was no compensation for the headache. We later learned (from google, their website and phone answering service) that they are normally closed most weekdays, including the day they told my family to return the bike. They required my family to leave their ID with them for the multi-day rental which is inconvenient and also worrying when the shop is closed so often and not open on the stated date of return. Is it really necessary to hold a customers ID at the shop for multi day rentals?

Riding across the Golden Gate Bridge was easily one of the highlights of my trip. I rented an electric bike from DandyHorse SF Bike Tours, and they were absolutely stellar—great service, smooth setup, and the e-bike made the ride effortless. I rode from the rental location all the way across the bridge and back, and the views were incredible the entire time. It’s an experience I’d highly recommend if you want something active but still relaxed. One thing to keep in mind: the walkways and bikeways can get pretty congested on weekends, so plan accordingly if you want a smoother ride. Overall, an unforgettable experience and a must-do when visiting San Francisco.
