The Golden Gate Bridge at sunset is one of the world's great photo opportunities — and almost every tour gets there at the wrong time. Our Golden Hour tour is timed precisely. We leave Haight-Ashbury two hours before sunset, ride through Golden Gate Park as the light goes warm, reach Crissy Field 45 minutes before sundown for the bridge in full golden light, then cross to the Marin Headlands viewpoint just as the sky lights up. By the time the bridge is glowing pink-orange, you're on the perfect ridge with nothing but you, the bike, and the view. Why this tour beats the daytime version: • Actual golden-hour light instead of harsh midday sun • Cooler temperatures (our e-bikes make the climbs effortless) • Smaller crowds at all photo stops • Stunning shots without the haze • Pacific Ocean coloring up over the headlands What's included: • Premium 2024 Rad Power e-bike (Performance tier — extra torque for the climbs) • Helmet, lock, headlamp for the ride back • Local guide who knows exactly where to be at exactly which minute • Curated photo stops with perfect angles • Small group (max 8 guests) • Sunset timing built into the route — you don't have to think about it 3-hour tour. Departure time shifts by season to align with sunset. Free cancellation up to 24 hours. Locally owned in Haight-Ashbury since 2013. 1,000+ 5★ Google reviews.

E biking is an amazing way to see SF and glad to have an option for family to rent when they visit. However, our most recent experience was poor. A family member rented here; the shop was closed on the contracted date of return stated on the email from them. My family member waited in the cold and they never opened. Hours later, the owner returned my call and offered us to bring it back add hoc. There was no compensation for the headache. We later learned (from google, their website and phone answering service) that they are normally closed most weekdays, including the day they told my family to return the bike. They required my family to leave their ID with them for the multi-day rental which is inconvenient and also worrying when the shop is closed so often and not open on the stated date of return. Is it really necessary to hold a customers ID at the shop for multi day rentals?

Riding across the Golden Gate Bridge was easily one of the highlights of my trip. I rented an electric bike from DandyHorse SF Bike Tours, and they were absolutely stellar—great service, smooth setup, and the e-bike made the ride effortless. I rode from the rental location all the way across the bridge and back, and the views were incredible the entire time. It’s an experience I’d highly recommend if you want something active but still relaxed. One thing to keep in mind: the walkways and bikeways can get pretty congested on weekends, so plan accordingly if you want a smoother ride. Overall, an unforgettable experience and a must-do when visiting San Francisco.
