Traveler reviews
Don't hesitate - book this trip now!
What an incredible week I was able to share with my travel partner, new family of hikers, and our guide, Fredy Apaza. The logistics and accommodations and food (from Chef Juan Carlos) were all on point. I had no idea I was going to be eating such fancy and expensive meals everyday, and that was a real treat! Our team got unlucky with physical illness from altitude and other traveling woes, but Fredy was patient and supportive with everyone, along with our team (family). Fredy kindly and openly shared his ancestral knowledge with us and did a great job staying in tune with the needs of the group. I would love to come back and do another trek with Fredy Apaza as my groups guide - he is that awesome! He also plays a 🪈 flute-type traditional instrument oftentimes as we hike, which made the mountains and jungles even more beautiful to experience. Machu pichu (which I recommend you learn how to pronounce it before going on your trek to prevent embarrassment) was an incredible way to cap off the trip. The only annoying thing was not having food included on the last full day. It felt like a little cop out on the company's part, but so it is.
Must do trek
Had an amazing time thanks to Ramiro
