Cesar Quispe is an amazing guide. He is always smiling, reassuring, attentive, and truly fun to be around. He does a wonderful job. I couldn't have asked for a better guide. I truly recommend having him as your guide for this trip!

5 day Salkantay Experience

The trek was so amazing and memorable, our guide Cesar Queispe was so knowledgeable, helpful, friendly, and just a funny guy all round. Would 100% recommend this trip to anyone wanting to not only see Machu Picchu but indulge in the history, culture, views, and friendships formed along the way !!

Challenging But Rewarding

A challenging experience, but definitely rewarding. Each day different to the last, moving from climate to climate. Rolando was an amazing guide, very knowledgeable and informative, and incredibly helpful when my partner injured herself. The food was amazing, the accommodation just as good. Had my 30th birthday whilst on the trip and chefs kindly made a cake for all of us to share which was incredible. Definitely recommend doing it, add on the sleeping bags and poles - you will need them! Book far in advance to make sure you get a good circuit for the Machu Picchu tour. Would recommend Salkantay Trekking to anyone, it’s well organised from the people in the office who helped me book, all the way to the guides, chefs, and porters on the hike. Definitely recommend doing the hot springs on the third day, nice break to relax and soak a bit! Overall, you won’t regret it - but your legs might!

An amazing experience highly recommend, physically challenging but the views and memories will be worth it. The accommodation and food were excellent and the staff are super friendly. Our guide Rolando Saico was super helpful and friendly and provided us with lots of good knowledge about the history, wildlife and plants along the way.
