- Approximately 90% of this tour takes place on the Roman paving of the Via Appia Antica. There is no car traffic, as only residents' cars have access. There are only two crossings when we leave the Appia Antica Regional Park to enter the Aqueduct Park; and when we pass from the Tor Fiscale Park to the Caffarella Park
- The journey by private shuttle is approximately 20 minutes each way
- Basic-medium bike riding skills are required to participate in this activity as it takes place off the beaten track and in the countryside.
- The guide, after a briefing, reserves the absolute and unquestionable right not to admit participants not deemed suitable due to skills or problems related to body/mind health to the tour, no refund will be issued in these cases.
- Infants up to 20 kg traveling in a child seat and participating in the tour as our guests.
- Children up to 139cm join the tour with a children's extension.
- Children can ride their E-bike from the age of 12.
- In the case of official/public celebrations and events in the center of the city of Rome, the tour operator can replace one or more of the highlights of the itinerary.

Something different to do away from the crowds
Our experience was amazing, Renato our tour guide was the best. He was really chatty and super friendly and very knowledgeable, couldn’t have been a nicer afternoon cycling around the Roma countryside. Thank you too for his patience changing our chain! Thoroughly recommend.

⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ 10/10 – One of the highlights of our trip! We had an AMAZING time with Riccardo! He was incredibly knowledgeable and brought the Appian Way, the catacombs, and the ancient aqueducts to life with fascinating stories and history. He made sure everyone was comfortable, fitted us perfectly with our e-bikes, took great photos for us along the way, and created such a fun, relaxed atmosphere. The e-bikes were excellent, making the ride easy and enjoyable. If you can ride a bike, you can absolutely do this tour! It was the perfect mix of history, beautiful scenery, and light adventure. This was one of our favorite experiences in Rome. 10/10—we’d do it again in a heartbeat!

Great bike tour and guide
Our guide Alessio was amazing. The bike tour was the right combination of physical activity and relaxation. In addition to the beautiful views, Alessio provided us with historical background and context to what we were seeing. He even helped us with the ideal spots to take great pictures.

Renato is the best!
Renato was amazing. We cannot say enough good things about him. He was accommodating to our two kids (12 and 15) and included them in our conversations and asked them questions. We messed up our tour time at the catacombs and he fixed it, my husband even left his phone in the van after the tour and he came back to give it to us. This tour was a beautiful stop outside of Rome and we enjoyed the comfort of the e-bikes. Renato is the best!!
