- Route: 90% of this route follows the ancient Roman paving (basolato) of the Appian Way, where public car traffic is prohibited (resident access only). Only two brief road crossings are needed to navigate between the Appia Antica Regional Park, Aqueduct Park, Tor Fiscale, and Caffarella Parks.
- Itinerary Changes: The operator may substitute itinerary highlights (e.g., for public events or safety reasons) to ensure group security.
- Riding Experience: A basic-medium cycling level is mandatory.
- Guide's Discretion: A pre-departure test is conducted. The guide may deny participation (no refund) if a guest is unsuitable due to lack of ability or health concerns.
- Infants: Infants (up to 20kg/44 lbs) ride free in a provided child seat
- Children: Children (under 139cm/4ft 7in) must use a bike extension (tag-along/trailer)

Bike ride with Matteo
We did the electric bike ride on the Via Antica, the Park of the Aqueducts, and a visit to the catacombs. Great Way To See Rome By E-bike
My husband and I had a great time with our Guide Georgio. It ended up being just the two of us on the experience. Georgio made the experience fun and informative. Our tour included riding along the Appian Way, a visit to the catacombs and the aqueducts. Riding through the countryside between these points was a great way to see more of Rome. While on our ride a rain shower came upon us but Georgio had us covered with ponchos in no time. We also encountered goats crossing the Appian way. There were so many going from one field to another, bells ringing, fun time. Once back to the bike rental spot we enjoyed some lunch and libations. One thing though it was a bit difficult to get a Taxi back to our hotel. I guess it’s a bit far out and it was a busy time to call a taxi. No worries though, the rental shop made sure we were all set and all ended well. It’s a fun experience, I highly recommend.
