Itinerary
Admire the exterior of this iconic 1st-century BC mausoleum, a symbol of the Ancient Appian Way. We will stop to observe its massive circular structure and its later transformation into a medieval fortress while learning about the Roman noblewoman it honors.
We will stop at this charming archaeological site, a peaceful oasis housing the remains of an ancient Roman thermal complex dating back to the 2nd century AD. You can admire the elegant mosaic floors and discover the history of this suburban Villa, surrounded by the lush greenery and silence of the Appian Way Park.
You arrive on the Via Appia Antica, the most important street of ancient Rome. Follow this delightful path full of ancient historical finds. Meet churches, mausoleums and even an ancient arena and listen to fascinating stories about them. Enjoy this unique experience, riding your e-bike among the ancient Roman relics

- Min./Refund: Minimum of 4 participants required. If not met, an alternative date or a full refund will be offered.
- Max Group Size: The limit is set at 8 guests per guide for a personalized experience. We maintain flexibility (1-2 extra guests) to keep family/group bookings together; the tour may still run with fewer than 6 people.
- Route: Approximately 60% of the tour takes place on the historic Appian Way. The route is carefully selected. However, please note that vehicular traffic on open roads is unavoidable during the transitions connecting the Appian Way to Lake Albano.
- Variations: The itinerary may be modified for safety reasons or due to external events.
- Skill Level: Basic to intermediate cycling skills are required (due to countryside/off-road sections).
- Riding Test: A mandatory pre-departure test will be conducted. The guide may deny participation (without refund) due to poor ability or health issues.
- Age Limit: Participants must be between 16 and 79 years old.
- What is NOT Included (A) Food & Drinks: Not included to give you flexibility on choice and quantity. The estimated cost for food/tastings usually ranges from €20 – €25. (B) Train Ticket: The train ticket for the return journey is not included and is the responsibility of the participant. The cost is a maximum of €3.

Fun and informative day rain or shine! Great guide! The aqueduct park was sensational. A few more busy roads than we were expecting as we did the full tour up to Gandolfo and the lake but all and all a wonderful day!
