Amidst the turmoil of World War II, Prague stood as a remarkable exception – the only European city where Jewish heritage survived largely intact. This resilience left us with an extraordinary legacy: the Prague Jewish Quarter, filled with impeccably preserved synagogues, monuments, and cultural treasures. On this Prague Jewish Quarter tour, you’ll walk the cobbled streets of what was once called the Fifth Quarter. From the haunting Old Jewish Cemetery to the iconic Old-New Synagogue and the collections of the Jewish Museum in Prague, you’ll discover the enduring history of the Jewish community and hear the moving stories of its most influential figures.

Our city tour of Prague was the highlight of our two week trip. Jana, our guide, was so knowledgeable about the city and we loved hearing all the stories and history that make Prague so special. She took us to all the major sites that we wanted to see and included special things that we never would have noticed on our own. After our tour, she sent an email with a recap of everything we saw and gave us dining suggestions and tips on how to spend our next day in Prague. I highly recommend the 5 hour tour to get a good overview of the city.
