- Please note that a live official guide inside the Pompeii ruins is guaranteed for language groups with a minimum of 6 participants. For groups of less than 6 passengers, the live guide will be replaced by a high-quality interactive audioguide, and the total tour price remains the same.
- High season (Apr–Oct) has a minimum of 2 pax Low season (Nov–Mar) has a minimum of 4 pax
- When the booking arrives 8 hours before the start time, the ONLY pick-up point is Starhotels Terminus in Piazza Garibaldi.
- Itinerary may change (weather/heat): Pompeii–Vesuvius ↔ Valley of Hell
- The ascent to the Vesuvius crater requires walking uphill on loose gravel and uneven terrain. The hike is equivalent to climbing approximately 45 flights of stairs; comfortable walking shoes, a sun hat, and water are highly recommended.

It was a wonderful experience at a very reasonable price. Salvatore, Nina, and Marco were incredibly friendly, welcoming, and professional. The tour of Pompeii was excellent—the guide was extremely knowledgeable and provided clear, informative explanations throughout. We especially appreciated that the tour was well-paced and never felt rushed, allowing us to fully enjoy the experience. Overall, a fantastic excursion and a great value. Highly recommended!

efinitely recommended A very interesting and informative tour. Luca our tour guide met us on the jetty with our name on a board so was easy to find. We were a group of 7 (5 adults and two children), and we were with another family of 5. So we were a small group, firstly we were taken by a comfortable mini bus to Pompeii (30 mins) with Luca giving a good running commentary on the way. We had time before going into Pompeii so see how Cameos were made and a chance to buy. For Pompeii Luka handed us over to Nico, a friendly and knowledgeable archaeologist who gave us a fascinating insight into Pompeii. Then time for lunch before taking the minibus onto Vesuvius. Again Luca explained everything and made sure we knew exactly what and how everything happened. The walk up Vesuvius was hot but well worth it, including the cold beer at the top. Overall would totally recommend this trip and selecting Luka if the opportunity arises. Our driver Francesco was also super and gave us a safe transit between stops. All tickets etc were included and no queuing.
A wonderful first-time experience!
My husband and I had a wonderful first-time experience seeing Pompeii and Vesuvius. Paola and the driver Antonio were very hospitable and experienced. Paola had a great amount of knowledge, and was very informative. The lunch was amazing too!

Geppi and Antonio A were amazing! We had such a good time with them. Everything went so smoothly and was an unforgettable experience. Highly recommended them!!! Antonio A was probably the best driver we’ve had in Italy and Geppi was absolutely hilarious
