Climbed Vesuvius!
Tour was great. Good-guides especially in Pompeii. The meeting point was quite chaotic. Lunch was good as well.
Great way to visit Pompeii and Vesuvius!
Luca was a fantastic guide on a brilliant tour. Highly recommended!
Fabulous Day Trip
Fantastic day trip. We travelled as party of six and had a really lovely and knowledgeable guide Connie for the day. She was really clear and great at her job. Antonio was our guide in Pompeii and was excellent and gave us a really informative 2 hour tour. We stopped for a really nice lunch included en route to Vesuvius. Must also mention our driver Francesco who was great and made our day so enjoyable. Fantastic memories made for a wonderful holiday Thank you.
Beautiful day
I had a wonderful day and really enjoyed this tour! The visit to Pompeii was fascinating. It’s amazing how much has been preserved — walking through the ancient streets, seeing the houses and imagining everyday life almost 2,000 years ago was an unforgettable experience. Our guide Diana made the history come alive with interesting stories and explanations. The wine tasting was another highlight. It took place in a beautiful garden with a relaxed atmosphere. The wines were excellent, the food was delicious, and it was the perfect place to take a break and enjoy the views. The views of Pompeii and the surrounding landscape were absolutely stunning and made the experience even more memorable. A big thank you to Marco, our tour leader, for keeping everything well organized and making the day enjoyable, to Francesco for the safe and comfortable drive, and to Diana for the excellent guided tour of Pompeii. Highly recommended!
A great day out
A lovely day out. The small tour size (and small bus) made it much nicer than a big tour. Mariacristina was really engaging as tour host, sharing lots of helpful facts and insights during our bus journeys. Leo (Leonardo) was a great guide at Pompei - he knew how to navigate to avoid long waits and queues and really brought the tour to life. Definitely worth arriving early for the tour during July - we were there at 9.30am when it opened and it was already really hot. The lunch was great, and the walk up Mt Vesuvius to the crater was tough on a hot day but worth the view at the end. Definitely need trainers though - my daughter and I wore sandals which was a bit precarious as we came down the unpaved paths at the end. Thanks to Renato for expertly steering the van around the tight hairpin bends getting to Mt Vesuvius.
