Pompeii and Vesuvius Day Trip

Excellent experience. Pitched just right for all the family to enjoy.

Myself and my husband and children along with our friends and children did a private Pompeii and Vesuvius tour with Antonio Carelo today. He was absolutely amazing from start to finish. He was there with a clearly marked sign when we left our cruise and was friendly and welcome from the minute we said hello. He was informative and interesting telling us what all the sights around us were. We first visited Pompeii. He was kind and provided lots of water on what was a very very hot day. We then took a wonderful drive up to Vesuvius. Antonio opened the roof on the vehicle we were in making the experience even more special. It was a fantastic day and we could not have asked for a better guide. I would highly recommend. Thank you

A very interesting and informative tour. Luka our tour guide met us on the jetty with our name on a board so was easy to find. We were a group of 7 (5 adults and two children), and we were with another family of 5. So we were a small group, firstly we were taken by a comfortable mini bus to Pompeii (30 mins) with Luka giving a good running commentary on the way. We had time before going into Pompeii so see how Cameos were made and a chance to buy. For Pompeii Luka handed us over to Nico, a friendly and knowledgeable archaeologist who gave us a fascinating insight into Pompeii. Then time for lunch before taking the minibus onto Vesuvius. Again Luka explained everything and made sure we knew exactly what and how everything happened. The walk up Vesuvius was hot but well worth it, including the cold beer at the top. Overall would totally recommend this trip and selecting Luka if the opportunity arises. Our driver Franchestco was also super and gave us a safe transit between stops.

Right from the start, the communication was prompt, crystal-clear, and effortless, which made planning completely stress-free. The entire itinerary was perfectly timed from start to finish - everything ran like clockwork without ever feeling rushed. The absolute highlight of the trip, however, was Eugenio. He radiated such positive energy and warmth from the moment we met him! On top of taking great care of us during the tour, he gave us a fantastic look at Naples along the way, turning the drive into an extra mini-tour filled with great local vibes. We loved the experience and Eugenio's incredible service so much that we didn't hesitate to book him again for our airport transfer. If you are looking for a seamless, well-organized trip with world-class hospitality, look no further. 10/10 highly recommended!

Very interesting look around Pompeii and Mount Vesuvius - Antonio our chauffeur was great - Patricia the tour guide seemed to know her stuff but her English wasn’t brilliant (she struggled with questions) - Mount Vesuvius was also great to look round - that’s two things off the bucket list
