Traveler reviews
HISTORY AT BEST
The historical tour was good but had a hard time finding where to start and how to show tickets on phone. Also since I use a cane I could not go to second floor of Betsy Ross House or First Congress Hall. My son was disappointed not to be able to see Independence Hall as we didn't know about coming earlier in morning. Was glad to see Liberty Bell. The talk on the bus was especially good. I would not advise anyone handicapped or using a cane to try this tour.
Fun and Educational Tour
Nick was an excellent guide in Philadelphia. He was engaging, friendly, and fun ~ and he must be the best tour guide in Philly!
Subpar experience
Although narration was good we couldn’t hear much of it sitting in the top. Also the bus tour felt very rushed and not stopping at may places though we asked for it early on. Not worth it for us.
Good way to see the city best bits.
As a newbie to travelling to Philadelphia I thought the best way to see the city was to use sightseeing bus, my ticket was purchased for $39.00. For that you can either do hop on hop off and then wait 20-30 minutes for the next bus to arrive or what I did was staying on the bus to do the whole tour. Then do another tour after getting something to eat and then getting off the spots I was interested in visiting & keeping myself busy for 20-30 minutes until the next bus arrived. I found new food spots to try out at a later date of my trip to Philly. From doing this trip I was able navigate around Philly independently using the public transport. Excellent service.
It’s fun and helps getting around town
It was fun. It took all day. The reason it gets three stars in my book is the Driver said that They were gonna wait 20 to 25 minutes and then take off but that is not true. You get off the bus and they leave and another bus comes in 20 or 25 minutes. We got off the bus to use the bathroom at the Betsy Ross house and the driver said he was gonna wait 10 minutes. We came back in 3 minutes and he was gone. We had to catch the other bus, which was a little late, but we didn’t mind.
