Amazing Tour!

We had an amazing Montenegro tour and thoroughly enjoyed every minute of it. Our tour guide, Drazen, was excellent – friendly, knowledgeable and passionate about this country. His English was very clear and easy to understand, which made the tour even more enjoyable. He shared fascinating insights, gave us plenty of valuable tips for our stay and was always happy to answer questions. Everything was perfectly organized and we never felt rushed. Thank you, Drazen, for making this such a memorable experience. We highly recommend this tour to anyone visiting Montenegro! 🇲🇪😊

Use the tour as transportation

Montenegro is stunning and definitely worth the day trip! We had Niko and I’m sure all guides do this, but the recommendations are terrible. We were wrong to trust him. He recommended the boat ride in Parast. It was 15 euro to the tiny island. He didn’t mention it on the way there. We all just lined up and were told once we were at the boat. You only have 20 mins on the lady of the rocks island, you have no guide and it’s absolutely packed. You’re maneuvering around all of these other tour groups with their guides and you have no idea what the heck you’re looking at. In Kotor Niko went on and on about this restaurant Konobo Alistik that was absolutely not worthwhile. It was subpar at best. He led the whole group there to get this free map. Don’t do it. Use your phone. You don’t need a map-Kotor is tiny. Back to the restaurant, it has a good view and that’s about it. Niko recommended the octopus which was rubbery and chewy. They offer a free shot to start and dessert. The mains came quickly and they brought out the bill and we paid. To make it worthwhile we waited for dessert. The server kept saying he was going to bring it but never did. I asked for the dessert to go on the way out. The dessert was the best part of the meal. The restaurants in the walls aren’t that much more. You only get three hours in Kotor and we felt like we wasted an hour at that restaurant. If you just use the tour as a mode of transportation and you stick to just Parast and Kotor you’re golden. Forget the guide’s recommendations. They’re just in it for the kickbacks.

Nice trip but maybe go with another provider (and be aware of how long the border takes) **Don't go in the recommended restauran

Montenegro is beautiful and the places are interesting. Kotor has plenty to see either in the old town or if it's not to hot and you are up for it you can hike up the side of the mountain. DO NOT GO IN THE RECOMMENDED RESTAURANT IN KOTOR. We were told it was much cheaper than the old town, this is lie from the guide - it's more expensive, unremarkable and so so slow you lose a third of your time. This seems to be common complaint from others so suspect it's a deal they have going on. Just go your own way - it's amazing they think people won't see they've been taken for chumps. Be aware the border crossing back can be slow, typically 3 hours wait, we had 5 and half. Can't blame the tour operator as it's out of their control but with our extended wait they didn't allow use of the toilet. They did kindly offer emergency water - if you paid for it. The trip is worth visiting but I'd try and check out some alternative providers.

Day trip to kotor

All was very good but an extra hour in kotor would have been excellent cause 3 hours is too short
