Hidden gem and excellent tour!
We had heard that Croatia was and under recognized gem and we weren't disappointed! Dubrovnik has such a rich history and the walled city is unbelievable. Evan was our driver and showed up in a very well kept Mercedes. He drove us around and provide historical context to the city and took us to a couple picture spots that provided a visual overview of the city. Cavtat was absolutely beautiful and we had time to wander around ourselves. Dubrovnik old town is so unique. We climbed the wall and walked around half the city looking into how folks live today - which is very similar to how they lived years ago. Inside the city they have some wonderful plazas and well kept streets where we enjoyed Lattes. One of the highlights was when John took us to Konavle where we had a traditional Croatian meal of Peka. It was, by far, the best lunch of our 14-day trip!
