Full description

Two hours is all it takes to hit Lisbon's greatest hits, and that's the entire point of this walking tour. Built for travelers short on time but not on appetite, it packs the city's best bites and best-known corners into one tour with no wasted stops.

Starting right outside the Church of São Roque, your small group of up to twelve heads downhill through Bairro Alto and Chiado for a fiery plate of peri-peri chicken and a glass of something local, then on through Chiado's grander streets toward Baixa's postcard squares. Along the way, a family-run counter serves up its two most-ordered savory snacks, and a century-old spot hands over a sandwich locals still queue for.

The walk closes on the flakiest custard tart in the city, still warm from the oven. Think of it as the shortcut version of Lisbon: the main bites and main sights, covered before anything else on your trip.

This was honestly one of the highlights of our trip to Amsterdam! Having one guide for the whole experience made it feel really personal, and our guide was fantastic—warm, knowledgeable, and genuinely passionate about the city. We loved exploring the Jordaan and discovering amazing local food along the way: aged Gouda, herring and crispy kibbeling, bitterballen, traditional apple pie in a brown café, warm poffertjes, Indonesian-Dutch saté, and a delicious briwat/roti roll with chicken. Everything was delicious and gave us a wonderful taste of Amsterdam’s diverse food culture. Trying jenever was also a fun and very Dutch experience! The private canal cruise was the perfect ending. Cruising through Amsterdam while enjoying bitterballen and jenever was such a memorable moment. We loved the combination of food, history, local culture, and the canals. Our guide made the whole afternoon relaxed, fun, and genuinely special. We would absolutely recommend this tour to anyone visiting Amsterd

We loved this tour and would recommend to anyone. It was walkable, informative, and delicious. Our guide Joanna was lovely. She was fun, patient, and gave us great information about Lisbon. This was our first Eating Europe tour, but definitely not our last. Thank you for a wonderful day!

We had a great time with Oliver who gave us a tour of the city as well as helping us discover several local specialties. He was a great guide, clearly knowledgeable about a city he loves, very easy to talk to. We went home with full bellies and a new outlook on Prague. Great tour!
