Warm up with some fresh coffee or tea this morning, then depart along a beginner-friendly hiking or snowshoe trail near Snoqualmie Pass with your guide! The best trail for the day will be determined by the conditions and snow levels. You can anticipate hiking approximately 1.5-2.5 miles or snowshowing approximately 1-2 miles along relatively flat to mild elevation trails. Never snowshoed before? Don’t worry! Your guide will provide an introductory lesson and helpful tips to get you started on the right foot. Enjoy meandering through a forest trail, watch out for wintering birds fluttering around, and learn about the Cascade Mountain ecosystem around you from your guide along the way.
Arrive to town just in time to find yourself some lunch and wander the festive streets on your own for a couple of hours. Discover the handmade goods, sip and taste local wines and cheeses, feel the luxury of fine clothes and jewelry, or find your next favorite holiday decor amongst the 55+ shops tucked within the small mountain town. As sunset draws near, enjoy the iconic holiday light display that takes over the town and draws in visitors from around the world. You will have approximately 3 hours to find lunch and explore the town.
Pass by: Enjoy the beautiful drive back from Leavenworth traveling through mountains to foothills to suburbs to the city through the Cascade Mountains, witnessing the change of scenery from the dry arid forests of the east to the lush rainforests of the west side.

Friend trip to Leavenworth
Lindsey was an amazing guide for our excursion into Leavenworth. He was knowledgeable about the area, but also just a ton of fun as a companion for the day. It felt like hanging out with a new friend, and he even picked up a pair of lederhosen along the way so he could match our excessively German style for the day.
Awesome snowy Christmas experience!
The whole tour was awesome. Our guide Karen had so much local knowledge and took the time to allow us to stop and see the snow - a novelty for us Aussies. Leavenworth was everything we hoped with snow on the ground and everything. Thankyou Karen for being such an awesome guide and the gluten free snacks were very appreciated and delicious!! As was the hot coffee and tea on the hike!!!
