He is incredibly knowledgeable and shared fascinating insights throughout the entire trip. We loved exploring Kenrokuen Garden, Kanazawa Castle, the Samurai District, and the Geisha District. Every stop was beautiful and well-paced. We highly recommend Yasushi's tour to anyone visiting the area. 5 stars!
Excellent Kanazawa Walking Day Tour
You can walk Kanazawa by yourself but walking with Yasushi will make your extra special. Yasushi is a native of Kanazawa and his love for his home comes thru with his stories about Kanazawa. We started the tour with a walk through the beautiful gardens built by one of Kanazawa’s heroes, Maeda. The garden showed beautiful Japanese culture of respect for nature and mindfulness. We then visited Maeda’s beautiful castle grounds and his tribute to his wife, a beautiful private garden. We ended the tour with a visit to the samurai and geiko districts. We appreciated the samurai gardens and hard but beautiful life of the geishas. The walking tour was excellently designed and insightfully narrated by Yasushi to have the participants appreciate the nature, and the mindful intention of Maeda’s vision. I truly enjoyed this walking tour.
